Nightmares after Midnight 1 (Young Franky x Young Reader)

It was after midnight.

You were fourteen years old when Aqua Laguna came and engulfed the passenger ship you were sailing on. 

The screams of passengers hurt your ears but you needed to focus. Heavy rain beat down on your head like bullets.

"MOM! DAD! WHERE ARE YOU?!" You yelled over the crowd.

People were shoving you from every direction, trying desperately to get to the lifeboats. Your eyes shifted everywhere in a panic as the adrenaline began to make you feel uneasy. The ship swayed and a low creaking noise echoed.

"WE'RE SINKING!" Someone cried from a distance.

You recognized the voice to be your mother's and ran to that direction.

"MOM! MOM! I'M OVER HERE!" You cried as you ran. The screams were getting louder and louder as the ship started to sink and take in water.

You reach the spot where you had heard the cry of your mother but she was not there. "M-Mom?" You fought back tears as you stare in fear at the ocean.

A massive wave was heading towards the ship.

"Mommy...help me..." You whisper to yourself as the wave swiftly carried the ship away, hurling you into a deep watery abyss. You could barely keep awake as the ocean twirled you around like a helpless rag doll.

Several passengers were down in the water with you but you couldn't see them clearly. Pieces of the ship began to slowly sink down to the depths of the ocean while others were tangled or, even worse, struck through a few unlucky passengers.
