Comfort Kisses (ASL x Reader) Intro

In this story, you (the reader) have Devil Fruit powers that turn you into a snow leopard. Depending on which character you want to end up with, I will write three different stories. Oh, also, your age depends on whose story you're going with.That is all. Enjoy~

Blinking away the tears that fell from your (E/C) eyes, you sit up and scope out your surroundings. 'Where am I?' You inquire yourself, unsure of the new environment you were currently in. 'A forest?'

You trudge forward, slightly limping from the sprained ankle you somehow received, and glance back every now and again. You weren't stupid, no. You could clearly hear the small footsteps that echo your own with each step you take.

"Who's there?" You call as you swiftly turn your head to the source of the sound. You hear a rustling of a bush and a figure wearing a straw hat hide behind it. Your face was a mix of confusion and annoyance as the figure took a peek out of his hiding place and quickly hid again as he saw you still gazing at his direction.

'Is this person stupid or something...?' You sigh irritably and continue walking, not concerned of the figure that followed you.

"Daddy?" You cup your hands and call out softly, careful not to wake whatever lives in the woods. You stopped, briefly hearing the small footsteps stop as well and hid behind a bush.

"Alright, who's there?" You question the bush.

"I know you're hiding behind that bush. So come out." You say sternly.

...

You sigh. "Hey! I told you that I know you're there! Get your ass out here!" You exclaimed, obviously not putting up with his shit any longer.

...

"Tch. Fine then."

You continue walking again and took a slight glance over your shoulder. A small boy around your age wearing a straw hat was walking to catch up with you. You smirk. 'Gotcha.'

You took a turn to a nearby tree that was rather large and disappeared.

*Luffy's POV*

Luffy walked faster to catch up with the strange girl he had saw earlier.

He was there when it happened. He was a witness.

The image of a large man ditching her there in the middle of the woods ran through his mind. From what he recalled, she was trying to defend herself from him. The man punched her and she staggered back, falling down from the higher ground they were at.

Luffy frowned. That fall should have killed someone as fragile as she was. But here she was, alive and still going.

The girl turned a corner behind a tree and he quickened his pace so he wouldn't lose sight of you. He froze.

"EH?!" He exclaimed in disbelief. "WHERE DID SHE GO?!"

*END POV*

You look down at the straw hat boy in amusement, tail curling and swaying in absolute delight. "Looking for someone, kid?"

Straw Hat shot his head upward and saw you high up on the branch of the tree. He gasped. "HOW DID YOU GET THERE SO FAST?!" His eyes were sparkling and he was grinning so wide that it sort of creeped you out.

"I climbed." You answer bluntly.

"Wow! I didn't think you could climb that fast with that foot of yours!"

"That foot?" You raised a questioning brow at him.

He points at your sprained foot and smiles. "Yeah, I saw you walking funny. You hurt your foot, right?"
