I woke up a few days later to the bright sunlight streaming through the windows of the house. Even though the room I was folding in was underground, the rest of the house was above the ground and in the center of the island. I walked over to Olly who was still sleeping. Apparently, he didn't like to get up as early as I did. I decided not to wake him. I looked out the window at the front yard. I've never paid attention to it before. The only time I'm only outside when I want to go to the craft room just because the entrance is outside. But I have never been to the front yard. There was some tree and a dock, nothing much but I still wanted to be out there. I checked to see if Olly was still sleeping. He was, even though I thought I should get permission first I still couldn't wait for him to wake up.

I carefully opened the front door. The sun was carefully making its way up into the sky. I made my way over to the dock. I looked over at the water. There were some fish swimming around. I crouched down  and carefully placed my hands into the water. I moved my fingers around trying to touch the fishes. They swam away almost immediately. Disappointed, I took my hands out of the water and dried them off on my dress. I didn't want to damage myself with the water seeing as I was still made with paper alive or not. I looked over to the ocean. I could see a town in the distance. It looked very tiny but that could just be because it was far. I wanted to go there. I could explore and meet new people. I looked around to see if there was any transportation nearby. There was a boat in the distance. It looked like it was getting closer. I held my breath hoping it would come this way. I kept getting closer and closer until I heard someone shout.

"OLIVIA WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I turned around to see my brother standing in the doorway.

"I was just looking outside, and look, there's a town we should go there."

"No, we will not," He marched up to me and grabbed my arm and dragged me back inside.

"Brother what's wrong?" He was hurting my arm. "Please let go." he let go of my arm and shut the door. "Olly..."

"Don't go out there again."

"What but why?"

"Olivia it's dangerous out there, people there don't understand that we are superior to them. They will be friendly"

"Olly, what do you mean by  'we are superior to them'?"

"Sister, I will not repeat myself."

"But why can't I-" I started

He grabbed my shoulders hard and shook me. "WHY CAN'T YOU LISTEN TO ME" he yelled. He let go. I was in shock that he's never yelled at me before. I rubbed my shoulders, they hurt badly. I wanted to cry. Olly looked at me and bent down

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to get mad. I just don't want you to get hurt, do you understand?"

"I understand."

"Don't worry sister, soon you will see the world, but you have to wait until the festival.

"There's a festival?" I asked. "When?"

"Soon, just wait until then and we will live as a happy family."

The following days he kept talking like this. Saying things about us being superior. I didn't like him speaking like that. He was also planning something, causing him to be very busy every time I looked at his notes or what he was doing. It didn't look pleasant, it looked like an attack.

"This is an attack?" I asked him the first time I saw his papers.

"Yes,"

"Why are you going to hurt people,"

"To show them wrong, they don't care about us. So, we're going to half to prove them wrong."

"Please don't," I begged

"Yes sister, this is how we will have our kingdom."

"Olly please don't, I'm sure we can get along."

He looked at me, "we can't" I knew he was wrong.

I tried to focus on the upcoming festival.

The day of the festival I noticed a lot of folded soldiers on the island.

"Olly, what's going on?"

"Preparations for the festival."

"Olly, please don't" I pleaded.

"NO YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME," he yelled. "We're going to the castle."

It was dark and the sun was slowly rising. I didn't want to do this.  This was wrong and I knew it. But why couldn't I do anything about it? I felt helpless as I followed my brother and the folded soldiers to the tall castle. Maybe I could run and tell someone about what is going to happen. My brother led me up a staircase his soldiers were left behind to guard the area.

"Olivia," he was speaking to me in a soft voice. He was telling me that he cared. "I'm doing this for you so we can live happily as a family. And no one will hurt you ever."

"But is this wrong?" I asked I expected him to yell

"No, think of it as us teaching everyone else a lesson. They won't know it's even happening." I knew this was still wrong. Even though I still wanted to live happily together, just not like this.
