2 years later.....

Your P.O.V
I was looking out the window with my headphones on my head. Emily was also looking out the window, and Navin was making faces at us. I rolled my eyes and sighed. Navin made another funny face, and Emily glared at him.

"If you keep that up, your face will stay like that way." Mom said.

"I'm trying to cheer Y/n and Emily up. They're making the mopey face again." Navin replied.

"Hey!" Emily and I shouted, annoyed at our little brother.

"Don't listen to him, mom. We're doing fine." Emily said, and I nodded.

"Just so long as you 3 find some way to be entertained and stay out of trouble, I don't care what you do with your faces." Mom said, and I faceplated.

"I was already doing something..." I mumbled, and Emily snickered.

"Anyway, I think you guys will like this town. They have miniature golf." Mom says, and I felt Emily lay her head on my shoulder.

"The only catch is that this house will require a lot of work to make it comfortable." Mom says, and I groan.

"Please, no...." I mumbled again, and Emily snickered again.

"Why did we leave our other place? Everything there was brand new." Navin said, and I agreed.

"Unfortunately, new things cost a lot. Since your father passed away, I haven't been able to afford that house. At least out here, we won't be under quite as much financial strain. This house has been in  the family for years." Mom explained to us, and I was curious.

"Mom, we're out in the middle of nowhere." Emily says.

"There are plenty of places in this country that are out in "the middle of nowhere"- none of which are quite as popular as Norlen. It's a fairly sizable city. You'll see it not that different than anywhere else." Mom said, and I nodded. Emily was still quite sad. We stopped and we saw a huge house.

"Well, here we are." Mom said. "And we got out of the car. "

"Smell that fresh air! Isn't it great?" Mm asked, and I looked around.

"Now let's see if these keys still work." Mom said, and we walked inside.

"My goodness... This home is going to require a lot of love." Mom said, and we looked inside.

"Everyone stay close." Mom said, and we walked upstairs.

"Watch your step." I said and helped Navin up since he tripped.

"There's simply no way we can sleep hereunder these conditions." Mom said, and I had an idea.

"Then we'll just have to attack it." I said with a smile.

We stood at the front door with a broom and a hat on.

"You ready?" Mom asked, and I smirked.

"Ready when you are, mom." Emily says.

"BRING IT ON!!!" Navin shouted.

"Charge!!!" We shouted and started to clean up. I walked upstairs and walked into a room that was like a library. I noticed a picture that had his name at the bottom.

"Silas Charnon...?" I mumbled and saw a book that was out. I looked through it and read the pages.

"Y/n!" I was still reading the book.

"Y/n? Whoa." Navin said and walked in.

"Hey, mom! Emily! Come see what N/n found!" Navin yelled out, and I turned around.
