Trellis's P.O.V
The elf guards looked everywhere that was the remains of the healers building. "There's no sign of them anywhere sir." One of the guards said. "Then you're not looking hard enough." Lugar replied. "Is this what you wanted to show me?" I asked. "Patience, we are only getting warmed up." Lugar replied. Then his communicator started to light up. "What is it?" Lugar asked. "We've spotted them, sir. They're up on the rooftops." I growled quietly so no one can hear me. "Destroy them." Lugar ordered.Your P.O.V
Leon, Miskit, Emily and I were on the rooftops, running and jumping onto them. Leon lead the way and I followed behind Emily and Miskit. I looked behind and saw the elves. "Oh no you don't." I said and knocked them down off the building. "Well done, Y/n!" Leon said. "Don't thank me just yet." I replied and Leon fought one of the elves. Emily knocked one off with her amulet. "Leon needs our help" Emily said.Miskit was questioning Emily. "Miskit, shut up. Emily do what you need to do." I said and she nodded. Emily attacked the elf that attacked Leon and the other elves ran off scared. Emily fell onto the ground and I knelt down worried. "Emily? You alright?" I asked her, helping Emily up. She grabbed her amulet and tried to pull it off. "Get it off of me!!!" Emily shouted. "Why can't I get this stupid thing off!?" Emily asked. "It's our curse, Emily." I replied.
"I'm sorry it has come down to you, Emily, but it is your choosen path. Ypu have yet to understand the extent of your power, but when you do, and you learn to control it, I have faith that you will turn this curse into a blessing for you and Alledia." Leon said. "How can I control this? It's too powerful." Emily asked. "Practice, Emily." I replied with a smile. "I'll show you." Leon said. "I have spent my entire life preparing for this moment. When I was a child, the elders told me I would meet you and your sister." Leon explained. "Us?" Emily and I asked at the same time. "The elders of the residents have foretold all that has transpired. I can only hope they are right about you and your sister, too." Leon said. "Your brother will meet them soon."
Emily ane I looked at each other. "Navin!" We said. "Will he and our mother be all right?" I asked Leon
"Not to worry. They're in very good company." Leon replied. I sighed and we kept going. After a while of walking, we arrived at a cliff side and saw a huge mountain. "That must be it." I mumbled and grabbed the thick book I took from the library in the Charnon house. "Y/n? What's that?" Emily asked. "It's a book about Alledia. I got it from the Charanon house library. I'm going through it has Silas did when he wrote it." I replied and looking at the page that had the Demon head mountain on it. "Just hope we can get the fruit and be gone before the elves follow us." I said closed the book in my hands.Trellis's P.O.V
Our elve soldiers came back to us wounded. "These are some of my best men. The girls must be getting help from a powerful ally." Lugar said. "They are also stronger than you think, Lugar." I said to Lugar. He called my father and waited. "My lord. The young stonekeeper's escaped, and they are being aided by a formidable warrior." Lugar explained to father. "Your mission remains clear. Track them down and kill them." My father responded. "Yes, my lord." Lugar said. "I thought oir job wad to capture them. Not kill them." I said. "Mercy is for the weak, boy." Lugar replied."If they will not join us, then killing them is our only option. They are far too dangerous to be left alone. Lugar, I would like Trellis to be the one to deliver the fatal blow. By killing the girls, he can prove his loyalty to me. Should my son fail, you have my permission to kill him. Is that understood?" My father said. I was in shook but didn't show it. "Yes, my lord." Lugar replied. "Do not fail me again." Father said and the call ended. "You would kill me, Lugar?" I asked him. "I will do as I'm told. Something I suggest you start doing yourself." Lugar replied. He knelt down and picked up some red fur. "Hmm. A fox" Lugar said sniffing the fur.
"Sir, my man have reported seeing the targets en route to Demon's head mountain." A soldier said. "Lieutenant, bring me the crawler hounds." Lugar said. "It is time to finish the hunt."
Your P.O.V
Leon, Miskit, Emily and I were walking through a forest. Leon stopped walking and we stopped too. "We will stop here." Leon said. "We haven't even started climbing." Miskit said. "We have to prepare, first." Leon says looking at Miskit. "But we're ready now." Emily said. "No. You're not. Before we continue, you must learn to control your powers. Otherwise, you will pose a greater threat to our safety than even our enemies." Leon replied."But Emily's and Y/n's mother is growing worse by the hoir. We don't have time!" Miskit said. "I agree with Miskit, Leon." I said. "Then we must work swiftly. Emily and Y/n, you will need to choose a weapon. I can offer you my sword." Leon replied. "Why do we need a weapon?" Emily asked. "It will allow you to harness your power and focus your energy." Leon replied. "Keep your sword." I said. "How about this walking stick?" Emily asked. Leon nodded. "Y/n?" Everyone looked at me. "I don't need a weapon. My amulet is weaker the Emily's. I can control my powers. Just work with Emily for now." I said to Leon.
"Very well. It should be adequate for our purposes. Now follow me." Leon said. We followed Leon further into the woods. "Leon. Why are you doing this? Why are you helping us?" I asked him. "Because on the end, it will be you helping all of us. I'm only here to show you the way." Leon replied. "I don't understand." Emily said. "How much dad Silas tell you about his life's work?" Leon asked Emily. "I-I didn't get a chance to speak with him about it before he passed away." Emily replied to Leon. "Well, what he would have told you is that there is a group of people in Alledia fighting against the elf king's terrible rules. Silas was one of these people. And now you have taken his place, Emily. But Y/n, I'm not sure of." Leon said.
"But all we want to do is find a cure for mom and get our family back home safely." Emily said. "And I will help you do that, but the truth is that you have an even greater mission ahead of you two." Leon replied. "You must understand that if we do not stop the elf king, your mother will not be the only one to die. If we fail, we will all perish." I looked at the ground and thought about it. "But why us?" I asked. "It's in your blood." Leon replied. "But our mom and her father, they're descendants of Silas, too. Why didn't they wear the stones?" I asked again. "Because Silas chose to leave them in the dark. He kept them unaware of their duty as heirs to the stone, and left them to lead what he felt was a normal life." Leon replied. "What he failed to realize is that by keeping them from their fate, he has passed their burden down to you and Emily." Leon explained.
"How can you say he failed? He only did what he thought was best for hos family." Emily said. "Even with your mother's life on the line, and the lives of her children threatened, you would say he did not fail? Had Silad chosen to do what is right for all of us, he could have spared you from this curse." Leon said. "Or our mom could have died trying. Not everybody wants to be a hero, Leon." I said. "But they should." Leon replied. 'Oh boy...' I thought and we kept going thanks to Miskit. 'Hope Navin's all right.' I thought and followed Leon.
