Trellis's P.O.V
I landed in a place next to Emily. I sat up with a groan and noticed Emily looking out of something. "Where are we?" I asked. "I think we're inside a house." Emily replied. "Is that someone you know?" I asked. "No. I've never seen him before." Emily replied. The man stood up and walked out the door. "He's leaving." Emily said. "Should we follow him? Huh?" Emily asked but I didn't get to answer because we were in something else. "Looks like we don't have much choice." I replied. "Ungh
My head hurts." Emily groaned. "We're on Earth. Is this your memory?" Emily asked. "This isn't my memory. I think we're inside one of his." I replied. We stopped moving and the guy walked out. "Should we follow him?" I asked. "Let's go." She replied and we got out of the...transport? We walked inside a building and Emily had  look at some books. "This magazine us from several years ago. I wonder how long I've been away from Earth." Emily said.

"Check." A old woman said. "Excuse me?" I replied. "He says it's your move now." The lady said. "Trellis! He's leaving!" Emily shouted and we ran out the door. "Hey! Wait!" Emily shouted out. "Id we're not with ths person whose memory this is...what happens?" I asked. "I guess we're about to find out." Emily replied. "Emily look. I think the void space is moving with him." I said and looked behind me. "Run!" I yelled out. "It's moving too fast!" I shouted and we were than back in the transport. "We're back in the car. We can't leave his side." Emily said. "It's his memory. We go where he goes. But why him?" I asked. "He's crying. Something is wrong."

"Put your seat belt on!" Emily said. I was very confused. "What's a seat belt?" I asked her. She faceplated and sighed. "Just pull it across your chest." Emily replied and helped me out. "I know where we are. This is where I grew up. This is where I lived." Emily said. "Your home?" I asked. "When I was younger. Before we moved to Silas's house." Emily replied. "Are you certain?" I asked. "Yes. I'll never forget this town." Emily replied. "This memory is a trap. It was supposed to be my memory alone, but they set this up for you." I said. "I can handle whatever comes our way." Emily replied. We heard skreeching and was very confused. "What is he doing?!" I asked Emily. "We're going to crash." She replied. "Hold on!!!" I closed my eyes and we crashed. "You okay?" Emily asked. "Let's find our way out of this nightmare." I replied. "I can't do anything right." The man said sadly. "He tried to drive off the cliff. He did it in purpose." Emily said and the guy got out of the car and walked around. "He's going to cause another wreck." Emily said. The guy stood in the middle of the road and a car was coming this way.

A car dodged the guy but drove off the cliff. Emily and I quickly got out and ran to the edge. Emily was yelling at the guy but he ran off. "Emily! Emily, wait!" I yelled out to her but she ignored. "Emily!" She ran down and I chased after her. I almost tripped and caught my breathe. "Emily! What are you doing?!" I shouted. "If you aren't going to help, then leave me alone." Emily replied. "You're getting too involved! We need to stay focused on getting out of here!" I yelled out and she attacked me. I fell onto the ground and patted the flame off my arm. "Leave us alone." She said coldly. "Come on, Emily. He's getting away." Another man said. "Emily!" I called out to her. I noticed someone walking up to me and help me up. "Go wake my sister up." A young Y/n said. "I'll do my best." I replied amd ran after Emily. She was with her father and the man we were with. She was going to attack the man. "Emily, no!!!" I yelled out but she didn't listen. She held onto her amulet and looked at me. "Trellis...go find my family. Go find Y/n. And bring me back." Emily said and then screammed in pain. Flames surrounded her and she turned into a pheonix. "Emily!!!" I shouted.

I ran over and faced the person that was Emily's father. "Who are you?!" I asked angrily. "The question you should be asking...Is what am I?" The voice said. I am a servant of the shadows. And so are you." The voice said. "No! I serve the elves, as their true king!" I replied. "How will you serve them if they believe you are dead? The future king found dead, alone at the bottom of the ocean. When they found him they undercovered a mystery. Legend has it that he was burned to a crisp. The voice explains. "Emily, no." I whispered. "How can that be?" The voice asked and Emily came after me. I ran off and she was hot on my tail. "Emily, stop!! You and saved Lugar and me from this curse! It can be reversed! But you need to show me how! I don't know how to help you!" I yelled out. She attacked me but I blocked it. "The exit!" I said and ran to it. Emily came after me, I jumped in and fell into water?!

I surfaced and took a breathe. "Close the portal now!!!" I yelled out. Wmily emerged from the portal and looked at us angrily. Gabilan aimed his gun at Emily. "Don't shoot! It's Emily!" I said
"That's not Emily. Not anyone." He replied. Emily was about to fire at us. "Underwater, now!!" Gabilan shouted and we got underwater. We swam out of the building and everything was being filled with water. Emily flew out of the dome and made more water come in. Great..."The water's really moving in now. The sub's going to be flooded." I said. "You're right. We won't be able to get the sub to work." Gabilan replied. "I can use my stone power to help us. I'll make a bubble shield. We won't have much air but we'll have a chance to survive." I said to Gabilan. "No. I won't let stone magic save my life." He replied. "You're a fool! You need to choose to live! I will need your help!" I said. "Here. Take this. You may need it later." Gabilan said giving me a memory cube.

"I need to make sure the other memories don't leave this place. Don't worry about me. I'll find a way to get out of here. Now go!" Gabilan said. I took a deep breath and created a shield around me. I moved away from the dome and looked at it. It exploded and I grumbled. "Oh, no." I was pushed back and spun around in the bubble. "I hope you made it out, brother elf." I said and surfaced.

Your P.O.V
I was standing with Vigo when Dagno cheeped. "What is is, Dagno?" Do you see them?" Vigo asked. A giant pheonix raised from the water and knew those eyes. "Emily..." I whispered and watched in disbelief. "Vigo, Y/n, what was that?" Rico asked. "We need to double our efforts to locate Trellis." Vigo said. "Trellis? What about Emily?" Rico asked. "Emily is gone." I said and looked down. I tear fell down my face and I ran off. "Y/n, wait!" Vigo called out to me. I didn't listen and ran to my room.

Trellis's P.O.V
I waved to the Luna moth amd they noticed me. They got me onto the ship and gave me a towel. "We saw the firebird. It was Emily, wasn't it?" Vigo asked. "Yes." I replied. "Did Gabilan Sabotage you?" Vigo asked. "No. He saved my life. It was my fault. I failed Emily..I failed Y/n. Emily saved me a few times when I was in trouble. And I couldn't do the same for her." I said and noticed Y/n standing there with tears in her eyes. She came over and layed her head on my lap. "You didn't fail me, Trellis. The voice got to her. I should of went, not her." Y/n said and I petted her head softly. "No. Either way, Emily would still go. I'm sorry." I replied and Y/n sat up.

"Thank you for trying, Trellis." Y/n said and I nod. "You know, I might have something to cheer you up." I said. Y/n made a cute confused face at me. "I learned where you use to live. Learned what a magazine was and a seat belt." I said to Y/n. "A seat belt? All the things, you had to learn about a seat belt?" Y/n asked and tried not to laugh. "And saw a young version of yourself." I said and Y/n sighed. "And what did you think of that?" She asked. "You looked cute when you were younger." I replied and Y/n looked down with a blush on her face. I smiled and hugged Y/n. "We'll get Emily back. I promise." I say and she nodded. "You smell like seafood. Let's get you some clothes." Y/n said and helped me up to my feet. We walked to our room and I got changed. I sat down on the bed and Y/n dried my hair and it actually felt nice.

"Now that I think about it. I want to see a younger you, Trellis." Y/n said suddenly. "I feel jealous that Emily got to see it." I smiled and held the memory cube that Gabilan gave me. Y/n sat next to me and looked at the cube. She layed her head on my shoulder and I glanced at her. "Tired?" I asked and she nodded. We lied on the bed and Y/n yawned. "Love you, Trellis." Y/n said and fell asleep. I smiled and kissed her head. "Love you too, Y/n." I replied and wrapped my arms around Y/n and fell into a deep slumber.
