Another Vigilante?

Peter already had his suit on when the door opened and Dick stepped out the of the bathroom in his suit. "Oh I forgot to ask, do you have a way to get around NY? If not I have extra web shooters you can use." Peter asked suddenly realizing not everyone could just swing around. "I have something but it would be cool to use your web shooters" Dick answers "alright let me get them and make sure they have enough web fluid in them, I'll be back in a minute." Peter says before he once again leaves the room.

A few minutes later Peter is back in the room explaining how to use the shooter as Dick puts them on over his suit. After a bit of trial and error trying to swing around lower buildings Dick finally gets a hold of it and Peter feels comfortable letting him swing around the taller buildings as they look for any crime. Getting bored of finding no crime Peter says " I'm bored, follow me I'm gonna show you some things" "ok?" Dick says wondering what things Peter was gonna show him.

After a few stops that including Peters work place and the store Peter bought the comic from, they finally stop at the Statue of Liberty. "Woah, why would they add Captain America's shield?" Dick asks "I don't really know, basically every poll had over 50% of New Yorkers say they didn't want the addition" Peter answers remembering all the polls everyone did when they first announced the addition. "Do you want the shield up there?" Dick questions "I don't know what I want, part of me wants it up there cause the shield is almost like a symbol but another part of me doesn't want to see the thing where I almost killed someone every day." Peter answers truthfully "oh I remember Jason talking about that"

After a few minutes in silence Peter perks up and says "I hear something, let's go" "what- hear what? All I hear is cars and the ocean" Dick says very confused "I hear a lady getting mugged around at least three quarters a mile away" Peter answer "what, how!?" Dick asks Peter doesn't answer instead he turns around and starts swinging away.

Dick quickly starts following him. On the way over to the mugging Dick sees a big build board with some dude taking about Spider-Man with the headline "NYC menace 2.0?" as he passes it Dick hears the man say "many today have seen Spider-Man swinging around with a sidekick? I say the menace has got himself another menace." Dick decides he will ask Peter about it later.

After the mugging Dick and Peter head back to Peter's apartment. Once in the apartment Dick asks Peter "who was that man calling you a menace on the build board?" "Oh that's good old J. Jonah Jameson. He's been hating on me since I put on my first suit" "oh, anyways how could you hear that lady?" Dick asks after remembering his confusion "oh the spider bite gave me a few things like super strength and like a sixth sense but it also enhanced my hearing" "that's cool" Dick responded.

Suddenly Dick remembered his comms and turned them on giving a small "hello. " Knowing he'd have to answer a lot more questions he sat on the couch and prepared himself.
