"Okay, back to my original question, where are you?" "It's a long story, so just keep an open mind while I explain, okay?" "Alright." "So, I was patrolling Blüdhaven and as I went to land on a building, a portal that was also on fire-" "You mean like Doctor Strange's portals?" "Did his portals have a weird ring of fire around them?" "Yes." "Then yeah, it was his portal."
"Okay. Then what happened?" "Turns out that said portal led to Peter Parker's apartment." "That explains his voice earlier." "Exactly. I went on patrol with him not too long ago and now I'm sitting here talking to you." Jason went quiet for a moment before he replied, "Okay Dick, I just have one question for you." "Okay, shoot." "Are you fucking high?" "What?" "Like, did somebody drug and kidnap you? Do you need help, cause you're not making any sense."
"No, I'm serious! It happened!" "I'm calling Bruce-" "No! Don't call Bruce! What do I have to do to convince you?" He could hear Jason hum in thought before giving an amused chuckle. "Oh no. What are you about to ask me to do?" "Hold on," Jason laughed a little, "I gotta talk to Oracle about something." Dick huffed as his comms went silent. Why wasn't anybody else trying to radio him? Did he really gey gravely injured so often that when he goes missing they start a search and don't even bother to contact him?
