Another Vigilante?

Ha Ha, Who?

"Ha ha, who? I'm sorry Reverse Flash? Does he like, go super slow?" Peter asked half joking but also genuinely curious. "I suppose we should go over his power if you don't know anything about him. So if I'm going to sum it up he can alter time relative to himself, so he can make time move slower or faster around him." Bruce answered seeing Peters question through his jokes. "Oh, well that's certainly interesting" Peter said thinking of how that would work.

After briefing Peter for a few more minutes, Peter seemed to perk up like he heard something quickly he walked over to Dr. Strange and whispered "someone's watching us through the door to the sanctum" "did you forget to close the door?" "Yes..?" "god, kids these days" Stephen cleared his throat "well go get them and bring them to me, it shouldn't be too hard to erase the last 15 minutes from their brain" Stephen muttered the last part under his breath but Peter could still here it.

Peter quickly devised how he would get out of the Sanctum Sanctorum without being seen by the eavesdropper: he would first go over to a wall that was hidden from their view, then walk up it to a window and crawl out, simple as that. Making his way over he quickly got out the window and behind the person without making a sound. "Hello! If you would kindly come with me please that would be great" Peter said, a big smile on his face while the eavesdropper jumped and yelped in surprise. Peter pushed the person inside with as little strength he could (he didn't want to hurt the person if they didn't have  ill-intentions.) "who are you and what are your intentions with spying on us?" Stephen asked firmly "uh well my name is Ruby a-and I saw what I thought were two teenage boys waking into this beautiful building and they both had a backpacks so I thought they might've been planning to vandalize the place but then some people came out of a portal and I-I just couldn't walk away." The women stammered a bit, which Peter assumed was because she was scared (I mean this man can open portals, what else is he capable of?).

Another few minutes and an even more annoyed Stephen Strange later, the woman's memory of those events were erased and she was well on her way back to her partner. "Well if that's all for now then me and Dick best be on our way, my fridge is almost empty and we could always meet up another day. And if that Hunter guy shows up I'm sure it's nothing I haven't handled before. I mean I haven't fought him but I'm sure in this or another universe I've had to have fought someone like him before, right?" Peter said "yes well I suppose could meet again another time." Stephen answered dismissing Peter and Dick. "And it would be nice to get some peace and quiet" Stephen mumbled, Peter giggled a bit at that but stopped when people gave him questioning looks. "Sorry I thought of something funny from earlier" Peter said as and excuse.

An hour later Peter was pushing an almost full shopping cart to the check out. Putting all the items on top of the check out Peter made small talk with the cashier and paid with his credit card (he was super excited when he got it because it was his first time owning one for himself, he did feel a bit sad thinking about how proud his aunt would've been but he didn't dwell on that). Dick looked between the backpacks and the cart "how are we going to fit all this stuff?" He asked "don't worry about that, they are super stretchy, the bags are I mean." Peter answered "I made them my self" Peter added wanting to brag to someone as he hadn't done so in a while. A half an hour later Peter and Dick had completely put all the groceries away and were pretty hungry. "Wanna go to Delmars?" Peter suggested "yeah sure, you said they had pretty good sandwiches?" Dick asked making sure he had remembered what Peter said right. " yup! I would say they are the best in all of New York!" Peter exclaimed.

Now the two vigilantes were sitting in Delmars discussing what they would do for dinner and what they would play on Peters consoles as Peter now had many two-player/multiplayer games. Peter and bought some new ones after Dick payed him to buy them. "I really want some two-player games as well but I don't think I could spend much more money, what with paying for two people now and everything" Peter had said "fine! Fine! Just take this and buy some games we can play together" Dick had said in response, handing Peter a handful of money and walking over to the kitchen. Where Dick had gotten this money confused Peter bit he didn't ask, deciding he didn't want to know.
