Chapter 12: Mom?!

I groan as I roll over onto my back, the sun immediately hitting my eyelids. I stretch my body grinning as the soreness spreads across my body. Sitting up I look over at Ophelia who's standing in the bathroom brushing her hair.

"Morning baby" Her voice carries from the bathroom and our eyes meet through the mirror. I feel my face getting warm as the memories from last night to this morning play out in my mind.

"Morning" My voice cracks a little and I smack my forehead as she laughs making her way over to me. She sits in front of me grabbing my ankle and pulling me closer to her. "You told me you loved me last night" I smile up at her.

She nods her head "Because I do in just a few weeks or months you've got a hold on my heart, Rosemary." She tugs on my hair and smiles down at me.

"I love you" She whispers as her lips meet mine.

A few hours later, after a shower and a few more kisses, we both are dressed and make our way downstairs. I feel her hand try and make its way up the back of my shirt. I giggle and swat her hand away as we enter the kitchen.

"Hey, love birds" Roman greets us, and Joey meets my eyes and wiggles his eyebrows.

"Hii" I reach over and pinch Joey's cheek. I lean down next to his ear. "You're in deep for not telling me you and Roman are dating." I laugh as he starts pleading for me to spare him.

We all eat breakfast and Nyx and Max join us a little later. I sit back in my seat grinning at my friends laughing and getting along. I think in life everyone looks for good lifelong friends and it took me a minute to get here but I finally did and at the same time, I found an amazing girlfriend. I glance over at Ophelia to see her already staring at me lust building in her eyes. I blushed looking away after she winks at me.

"Rose!" I turn my head to Max as he waves his hand in front of my face.

"Hiii Max" I reach over and kiss his cheek giggling as he pushes me away.

"Are we still on for our thing today?" He leans back in his seat, eyes holding mine....what thing....OH

"Yesss sweetie" I smile and hold up my thumbs. "Oh but only if you pull my hair into a high ponytail. Someone got it wet in the shower." I glare at Ophelia as she smirks at me.

"The words coming out your mouth definitely weren't complaints baby girl" I roll my eyes and smile.

"Let me get the hair stuff and then we can leave Max" I let out a scream as Joey chases me upstairs.

"MARRIAGE?!" I scream

"Shush!" Max covers my mouth nodding an apology to the people around us in front of the jewelry store. "Yes, I I mean I'm not going to propose to her right now. We all graduate this December so I plan on taking her on a trip and doing it then" He rubs the back of his neck as his cheeks bloom like a rose.

"Awwww Max" I sniffle and squish my cheeks together. "That's going to be so cute."

"Really? You don't think it's too fast?" We both walk into the store and begin looking around at the rings.

"Not really, other than the fact that I have two dads and I'm a lesbian," I laugh as he swats my arm. "I feel like all your life you spend your time searching for your true love and when you find it people usually take their time with that person. If you know deep down that this is it for you what's the point in waiting? You already found what you wanted." I smile and look over at him, it quickly drops as I notice the tears in his eyes.
