Chapter 24: Exploring and More

I groan and stretch as the sun shines directly on my face reminding me that neither of us closed the curtains last night. Pushing myself up on my hands I glance around the room and blush as I see clothes thrown anywhere and everywhere, handcuffs and other things tossed onto the floor without care.

I pull the sheet around me as I stand up from the bed with shaky legs...maybe I should've stretched last night. I shake my head at my own thoughts and make my way into the empty bathroom to clean up. After about 2 hours in the bathroom and fixing my hair back to being straight and out of my face, I pull on one of Ophelias' t-shirts over my body and make my way downstairs following her voice.

"Yeah mom she-" Her head turns at the sounds of me walking towards her and she smiles at me. "I gotta go but ill call you later mom" She hangs up as soon as I reach her and pulls me into her arms.

"Hi my love" She mumbles in my ear. I hum and snuggle into her, leaning all my weight against her. "How are you feeling? Up for some exploring?" I pull away nodding my head at her.

"Yeah, I could explore." I place both my hands on the counter and stare at her as she types away on her phone.

"Okay we'll get ready and then we can go, yeah?" She finally looks up and flinches. "Rose, did you zone out or something?" She chuckles and taps my hand to make sure.

"No" I walk around the counter and back upstairs to get dressed warmly. Half way through Nyx face times me and starts talking a million miles and hour.

"...And so long story short I think I may be pregnant."

"You tHINK?" I scream "BE fucking for real right now Nyx!" She blushes as the camera turns around and shows the positive pregnancy test. My mouth drops open as I pull my top over my head. "Wow"

"I was kinda scared to tell you because I know how you feel about kids since its hard for you to get pregnant and what not-

"Nyx bump that I'm so excited for you. I'm going to be an auntie!" I squeal. This was so exciting...well for me. I'm not caring a baby for almost nine months. 

"I said MIGHT bitch!" She groans at my excitement. We both laugh and continue to talk as I get ready. "We're going exploring she said so Is this cute?" I step back as she scans my outfit. I'm wearing a plain white track suit with my coat and boots.

"Is that a hickey on your stomach?" Nyx asks. I walk closer to the camera and groan loudly as she laughs. "I take it she really liked her Christmas gift babe?"

"Girl" We both laugh as I brush my hair and place a beanie on. "She loved it and I'm not sure what it was but last night it felt different."

"She got a new strap?" Nyx offers an answer but laughs.

"No bitch well yes but I mean emotionally it felt different between us. Not anything negative but like we were more connected in a way but on a higher level than before, if that makes sense." I turn around and pull the sheets off the bed and begin putting new ones on.

"Yeah, I get what you're saying. Actually, I had a moment like that with Max a few days before he proposed to me...." She trails off as I glance over at her and bust out laughing. "What I'm foreal rose"

"I know I know it's just" I shake my head and pull the new covers on the bed before putting the other in the laundry basket. "I don't know"

"Are you saying you wouldn't say yes if she proposed soon or..."

"I'm so sure about her Nyx. She's my soulmate I feel like. I'm just scared. I-I I'll have a talk with her about it one day soon and figure it out. Although right now based on how I feel and when I think about she and I...I'd say yes if she popped out with a ring." I nod my head and freeze when I hear footsteps behind the door.
