"I'm really not understanding this. You've been dating someone for 2 months or more and never told anyone?!" Logan and Evan, my twin brothers, say at the same time. I run my fingers through my new hair and put my arm on the back of my younger sister's chair.
"Well, to be fair Mom knew since Halloween." I sip my drinks they all start getting on to Mom and she flicks them off laughing. It's Saturday Morning and Rose was supposed to be here by now but she's giving that Katy girl a ride back to our campus as well. I never knew she went here.
"All that aside I would like to meet this girl. Something tells me she's not like your last girlfriend right?" My dad sits his sweet tea down and everyone directs their attention to me.
I nod my head. "Yeah maybe she and I will work something out and she can come during one of these holidays...maybe after Christmas. You're right though she's nothing like my last girlfriend." I smirk remembering the time Rosemary smacked the shit out of me because I apparently getting another round in before class had made her late.
"Oooooo you're in love gross" One of my brothers gags and turns back to his phone screen.
"I think it's great" My older brother, Max, voices his opinion. "You're gonna need a life outside of boxing whenever you decide to quit...isn't that soon?" I nod my head answering his question. We all fall into comfortable conversations as the food comes.
I look around the restaurant and almost choke on my drink as I notice Rosemary and that girl along with Max and Nyx getting a table together for brunch. I glance down at my phone to see a few texts from her. Smiling I text her back letting her know I see her too and chuckle as she looks over at me and waves. I wave back and dig into my food and engage in a conversation with my sister. As brunch goes on I keep glancing over at my girlfriend and her ex. I grow mad a few times as her ex seems a little touchy. I notice Nyx seems to not like her either.
As my family walks out before me I stop over and Roses' table. I smirk as Nyx grins at me.
"Hey baby" I lean down to kiss her cheek quickly. "Hey everyone else" Max laughs and nods at me and Katy just stares at me. I clear my throat and she snaps out of her daze and smiles at me.
"Wow, you're Ophelia Golding. I'm a huge fan!" She gushes reaching out to shake my hand. Shaking her hand I glance over to my mom waiting for me. I chuckle gripping the back of Rosemary's neck tilting it back and leaning down for a quick kiss. Right before our lips touch, I whisper to her. "Stop letting her touch you" I peck her lips softly and wave bye to everyone.
I smirk walking over to my mom as she shakes her head. "You're an ass you know that, right?" She laughs as we both walk out leaving. I look down at my phone as it dings.
'Possessive ass' I laugh at Rosemarys' text.
"Let's go dear" My mom calls out for me.

"You ass!" I feel the bed dip and a body falling on top of mine. I grin as Rosemary starts smacking my arms telling me how jealous I was for no reason.
"Hi baby" I grab her hands pulling her down on top of me. I listen to her grumble and finally relax against me.
"Hi," She huffs. I feel her smile against my neck. "I missed you...even if it was just for a day" I rub her back and we both lay in silence.
"I missed you too" I sit us both up and she pulls back to look at me. I watch as her face lights up as she remembers something.
"What was the thing box sitting on your bed?" She questions as she looks around the room clearly looking for it. I look at her confused before realization washes over me and a grin finds its way to my face.
"Ohhh baby that's just a little something for us," I trail my fingers up her thighs and smile as she shivers. "Are you spending the night?" I look behind her noticing her bags and nodding to myself.
"Yeah, Actually I'm spending the week because nyxandigotinanarguement" She rushes out at the end of her sentence. I stare at her trying to pick apart what she said.
"Slower baby" I nudge her and watch as she nods and takes a deep breath.
"Nyx and I got into a big argument after you saw us today" She sighs slouching in my lap and placing her hands on my chest. "It was a dumb argument and it wasn't my fault but I guess I shouldn't have told her to kiss my ass at the end of it but still."
"Okay okay tell me what happened" I rub her ass as she begins to tell me everything.
(Rosemary's flashback)
"Byeee Katy!" I wave her off and pull away from the dorm. I begin driving us back to our apartment.
"So did you Ophelia have sex?" Nyx turns towards me in the passenger seat. I laugh and make a left turn.
"I mean yeah...I thought you would've asked me this since Halloween." I laugh and shake my head. Max chuckles too from the backseat.
Nyx snorts and crosses her arms. "I think that's a dumb thing to do since you just got assaulted like weeks ago" She shakes her head and keeps talking. "I mean it's dumb don't you think Max?" She looks in the mirror at him. Max doesn't say anything, smart man.
"Nyx, what are you saying right now? Are you really trying to argue with me right now about this?" I scoff and pull into our parking lot quickly. "Are you mad at me about something else because this excuse of an argument is kind of dumb?" Nyx stares at me like I just cussed her out.
"Nyx don't you think you're being kinda out of line right now?" Max questions from the backseat.
"Max shut up!" Nyx snaps.
"Don't talk to him like that!" I yell at her "What's gotten into you?!"

"And then we just kept yelling at each other and eventually she got out of my car slamming the door with Max following her yelling at her and now here I am" she huffs looking up at me and pouting.
"Awww my baby" I lean down pecking her lips. "Why is she concerned about you having sex? It's up to you hands down." I scoff and bite my lip. Was it too soon?
"I know! It was my choice and I was completely sober and consenting to what you and I did." She rolls her eyes and then sighs.
"Do you think we'll make up?" She whispers looking up at me with tears in her eyes. "She's my best friend" She whines.
"Baby look calm down. You'll makeup, I think something was just going on with her and she just took it out on you which wasn't called for" I push some of her curls back and smile down at her. "Do you want to maybe use your gift I got you now or later?"
"It depends.....is it sexual?" She wipes her tears. I nod my head slowly and laugh as she jumps up to take her clothes off. "Well, what are you waiting for it's been a week since I've had you. Start strippin!" She tosses her shirt at me and laughs.
God, I love this girl.
