Chapter 6: Extra Hot Tea

A few days after my kiss with Ophelia she had to go out of town for a fight. After she left my room Max and Nyx pinned me down for a few hours to get the tea. Of course, I had to tell them about our kiss. Nyx and I giggle about it into the early morning. She even let me in on how her relationship with max was going. He asked her to be his girlfriend a few nights ago. They've been getting so close lately I wouldn't be surprised if they got engaged by the end of the year.

I smile to myself remembering that night as I get up and quickly brush my hair that I had Nyx straighten last night. I look over my closet for something to wear and gather my things for class.

As I'm walking to class I spot Dominic and that same Victoria girl huddled together against the wall near my classroom. 'Why is he even in the English building?' I think to myself. I ignore them both as a try to walk past but the girl grabs my arm.

"Yes?" I look at her as I pull my arm out of her grasp. Is this girl for real?

"Rosemary, right?" She questions. I sigh and roll my eyes.

"That's a dumb question considering we've met before." I look over at Dominic who's staring a hole into my face. "I have a class to get to so can this wait or.." I trail off looking back at her.

Before the word 'yes' can even fully leave her mouth I've turned around and walked into class. I take my seat pulling out my phone seeing a few texts from Ophelia and then her calling me. Such good timing.

"Hello," I smile swinging my feet as I answer.

"Well, someone's happy to be up so early in the morning." She chuckles and I hear her shifting in the back as what I'm assuming is weights being dropped in the background.

"Yeah...only because you called. Is everything okay?" I lick my lips and stare out the window listening to her talk about her fight coming up and how when she gets back she has a big family dinner to go to. She said she's gonna be back in a few days. I pout.

"...And on top of that stuff I still haven't been getting enough sleep." She groans

"I see, well maybe when you come back we can have a sleepover or something. My dad's taught me a few things since I used to have bad insomnia." I offer.

She quickly agrees and we say our goodbyes as my class starts....one of many for today. I'm so ready for Halloween or maybe just a break in general.

1:30 pm

"BITCH" Joey screams across the little cafe. I look up and smile shyly at the people looking my way because of Joey's screaming.

"Hey, girl-

"DON'T 'hey girl' me! Why wasn't I told you two kissed on the LIPS!?" He huffs and flops into the booth across from me.

"Joey it happened like a day ago, I'm sorry" I pout and reach over patting his hands.

"Please y'all are MY OTP. I should be told first" He slams his hands on the table glaring at me. I grin and nod my head.

"Next time she even breathes next to me I'll call you and put you on speaker, okay?" I giggle as he slaps my arm and we both pick up a menu and order our food after a few minutes.

"Oh! Also, will you come with me to Ophelia's apartment? I have to feed and walk Salem and I don't want to be alone....also I found out something interesting and I love to gossip so you're gonna get some tea today." He explains as I nod my head.
