"That fight was the most insane thing I've ever seen!" Max gushes as we all walk out of one of Opheilas fights. It was new for her to get shy when she asked me to come and watch. I smile walking beside him quietly agreeing with him. Nyx has been quiet since I came to pick them up but thankfully Joey and Max have filled the silence.

"It was amazing. I've only watched it on my computer so this time it was legit right in front of us." I giggle as Joey skips ahead of us to go get the car. We stop and wait for him. I texted Nyx yesterday and left a few voice messages apologizing for our argument but letting her know it wasn't her place to make choices like that for me. As you can see she never responded and Max let me know she got and listened to all of my messages. Ophelia just told me to let it be and she'll come around when she's ready.

I feel arms wrap around my waist and then a chin resting on my shoulder. "Did you enjoy my fight love?" She sways us from side to side. I snuggle into her and smile.

"You did amazing baby. That was your last fight, right?" I turn to look up at her as she stands up to her full height towering over me. She smiles and nods. I know she's happy so she can just focus on her family and art. She could barely sleep last night, calling me every second as if I wasn't laying right beside her.

"Alright, sluts let's go eat!" Joey screams from the car as Roman smacks the back of his head. I laughed walking over to the driver's side and I almost make it before I'm pulled back into Ophelia.

"Ride me" She demands. My head snaps up to her and our eyes meet.

"Excuse me?!" I blurt. I feel my face getting warmer and my body getting hot. She raises an eyebrow as my face goes red.

"Ride with me" She repeats with a confused look on her face. I know that I heard what I heard. Horny ass girl. I roll my eyes and allow Joey to drive my car. As we drive over to where ever Joey wants to eat I can't help but to let my mind drift to Nyx.

"What do you think baby?" I turn and look at Ophelia with a confused face. She parks the car and chuckles. We both unbuckle and turn toward each other.

"huh?"

"What's going on in your mind? Lay it on me" She wiggles her eyebrows and smiles at me. I shake my head and sigh.

"Just Nyx but Max says I should just let her have her space which I am but if she was so mad with me she didn't have to ride in my car! I mean you know what she can hold whatever grudge she wants. While she's doing that our friendship is slipping away." I tell Ophelia. I know for the past week she's been wondering how I've been feeling about it but never said anything. Although tonight is the first night I'll be back at the apartment with them so we'll see how it goes.

"I understand baby and I'm on your side-

I snort and nod my head. "You better be hoe"

"If it's stressing you out so bad do things to get rid of your stress. I mean I'm sitting right here" She rubs her thumb across my bottom lip. "At the same time if ya'lls friendship meant anything to her you wouldn't have been the only one trying to make it right and apologize. Don't let it hurt you okay love?"

I nod and we share a few kisses before going inside to join everyone else. We all settle in reading the menu and making small talk. I smile to myself as Joey and I talk through our eyes. We probably look dumb as hell.

"Roseeeeee" I look over making eye contact with Max. "Are we still on for tonight?" He wiggles his eyebrows at me.

"Ohhhh yes. I have the snacks and cold drinks already set up in my room. As soon as we get home it's on." He and I both do a little dance in our seats. We've been binge-watching a TV show together and tonight is the last episode, a whole hour long so we're ready for anything.
