That Chelsea Boy - Mason Mount

After the match last night Mason had dropped me off at my house before he headed home as he was feeling tired. I had been considering whether to invite him in so I could spend a bit more time with him but I decided not to after he invited me to go and get food with him tonight. He had initially talked about going to somewhere that was a bit fancier but I'd soon managed to convince him to just go to McDonalds instead as I always prefer to do something a bit more chill the first time I go on a date with someone. I've already spent a bit of time with Mason so I know it won't be awkward.

I had been woken up this morning by the sound of my phone ringing from the table next to my bed. As I rolled over I saw Georgie's name lighting up the screen. "Hiya Georgie are you alright?" I asked my new friend feeling a bit concerned as to why she was calling me. "Hey yeah I'm fine you? I'm so happy for you by the way" she replied. "I'm good yeah. Hang on why?" I replied still half asleep and not yet thinking properly. "You and Mase are going out tonight duh" she replied before laughing slightly and suddenly my brain kicked in. "Yeah we are. Wait how do you know about that?"

"Oh Mason drove to ours last night after he dropped you off home and he told me and Dec, he was like a little excited schoolboy he wouldn't stop smiling. Who do you think let him know who you are in the first place?" "I was wondering to be honest" I said as I laughed lightly. "He's like super nervous about it by the way" Georgie told me. "Me too but we're only going to McDonalds or something like that so it's not as much pressure as somewhere fancy. Anyway I don't see how he'd be nervous" "Trust me Amelia he already really likes you but you definitely didn't hear that from me" she laughed.

I laughed too before saying "I already really like him too but do not tell anyone I said that". "Aww that's amazing I really hope it goes well for you both. Oh what are you up to during the day today?" "Um Madison stayed at Tammy's and I think Emily went to the gym with Kai so nothing why?" "Okay I'll come pick you up in like an hour let's go and get coffee" "Oooh that sounds amazing see you soon" "See you in a bit" she said before she hung up the phone. It would be nice to see her again as we haven't had chance since the party as we've both been so busy.

I had been checking through my social media and replying to emails before I looked at the time and decided I should probably get ready for when Georgie gets here. After pushing my covers off and being hit by the cold air I stood up and walked across to my en-suite and turned on my shower so it could get warm while I picked out something to wear. I picked out a black high neck top and some blue jeans, we're only getting coffee so I didn't need to dress up. After placing them on my bed I headed back to my bathroom and stripped down out of my vest and shorts before stepping into my shower that was no nice and warm.

As I showered my thoughts kept drifting to the brown haired professional footballer I was going to be seeing this evening. This made it even more shocking when, after I'd got out, got dressed and done my makeup ready to go out, I heard my phone ring and saw his name on the screen. He was requesting to FaceTime me like he had when I'd been cooking the other day. I quickly accepted the call with a big smile appearing on my face when I saw him. He was in what looked like a gym and had obviously leant his phone against something. "Hey Mason it looks like you're working hard there" I laughed.

"Hey Melia well I mean I'm hardly doing anything I've just got here and Kai's not arrived yet" he replied as he smiled towards the screen. 'Wow he looks so good today' I thought to myself as I looked at what he was wearing. He was in a Chelsea tracksuit and the blue really suited him. He'd also styled his hair again. "Oh right I think Em's coming with him so that may be why" I said to him quickly with a small laugh before he'd realise that I'd just been staring at him. "Yeah that explains it then" he laughed while he shook his shake. "Where are you off to you look really nice" he asked me.

He then reached up to grab something making his top lift up slightly so I could see part of his stomach at the bottom of it. I wasn't sure whether I was blushing from that or his compliment. "So do you. I'm just going out with Georgie to get some coffee" I said and I saw his cheeks turn a slightly pinky colour when I complimented him. "Kai and Emily have just walked in so have fun and I'll see you later yeah, I'll come pick you up at 6. Oh and just wear joggers or something comfy I will be" "Ok sounds good see you later then Mason" I said as I smiled at him. He smiled and waved down the camera before I hung up the phone call.

It wasn't too long after I'd finished talking to Mason when I heard a car horn beeping from outside. My phone then pinged with a text from Georgie saying she was outside on the drive. After quickly pulling my pair of battered Air Forces on I picked up my bag and headed downstairs to the front door. Before I opened the door to head out I made sure to leave a note for the girls telling them where I was even though they weren't home. I walked outside and around her car to the passenger side and I sent her a small smile which she returned from the driver's seat.

"Hey it's nice to see you" I said to her once I'd opened the car door. "Yeah you too I meant to message you the other day to meet up but we've both been so busy" she replied with a smile. "Yeah it's always nice to have a day when you're not doing a lot isn't it" I sighed as I pulled on my seatbelt. "Well you're not exactly not doing a lot today are you, well tonight anyway" she said as she wiggled her eyebrows. "I'm so nervous for tonight I don't wanna mess it up and like put him off me" "I honestly don't think you could. Anyway I'm in need of caffeine so let's go" she smiled as she reversed out of our drive.
