"Hey Mase can you grab me a couple of plates out the cupboard please" I asked my boyfriend as we were stood in my kitchen cooking some breakfast. Well when I say we I mean that I'm cooking and giving the midfielder a lesson on how to make waffles. "Yeah of course Melia" he replied as he walked across and opened the cupboard door grabbing two plates for us. "Got them" he replied as he reached them out and put them on the island before sitting on a stool at the kitchen island. I continued to pour the batter into the machine and waited while it cooked the waffles.
As I'd been making them I'd kept feeling small things being thrown at my head. I looked down to see multiple raspberries on the counter and on the floor around me and I turned around to see a very smiley Mason eating the fruit out of the packets. "Mase stop wasting them there'll be none left" I told him trying to keep my face serious. Something that was very difficult with him sat there smiling like an idiot. "Alright sorry babe" he smiled before I turned back around again. I opened the machine to see the ready made waffle and heard the chair move before feeling Mason's arms around me and his breath on the back of my neck.
I smiled to myself before turning around to face him and he smiled down at me. He placed a small, soft, gentle kiss onto my lips and once he pulled away he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his chest. "You're so kind making breakfast" he said softly before kissing the top of my head. "Not really I just think we'd get food poisoning if I left making waffles to you" I laughed before looking up into his eyes. "Special treat for winning yesterday too babe" I added. "You've already given me enough special treats for that" he winked making me giggle.
"We need to tell them all today that we're together now" I told him. "Yeah I know Melia we can tell them when they wake up" he said as he carried our plates across to the island.

Me and Mason had now come into the living room to watch Brooklyn Nine Nine. My back was pressed against his chest as we were sitting lengthways across the sofa. Madison and Tammy made their way past the room and towards the kitchen. They were the first two of the four hungover people in the house to make their way downstairs. "Morning you two" I called out to them and they soon walked slowly into the room. "Why does it smell so strongly like pancakes down here?" Tammy asked. "Melia cooked waffles for us for breakfast" Mason replied.
"Yeah I mean I would like to say that Mase helped but let's be honest here he didn't really do a lot" I laughed as I turned and smiled at him. Tammy immediately started laughing before saying "all Mase can cook is pasta" making the boy behind me groan and the rest of us laugh before Mason added "I do know how to cook them now though". The four of us weren't left waiting for too much longer before Emily and Kai walked in through the door meaning that now everyone was downstairs. "Wow it smells amazing down here" Emily said before Kai agreed.
She walked into the kitchen before I heard her yell and walk back in holding a raspberry. "I just found this in the kettle how the hell did that get there?" she asked. I turned towards my now guilty looking boyfriend who mouthed the word 'sorry' to me before placing a gentle kiss against the side of my head. Our friends all looked between each other when he did it. "Are you two properly together now or something cause you're very coupley?" Madison asked us with a wide grin on her face. Similar smiles were on Tammy, Kai and Emily's faces too. Mason and I looked at each other and smiled before turning to face her and saying 'yeah'.
"We wanted to tell you last night when we got back here but you were all so drunk that we didn't know if you'd even remember the conversation this morning" Mason said laughing slightly at the end. Emily then let out a small screech making the other three groan and cover their ears. "Ow" Tammy complained while sending a glare in her direction. "Sorry Tam" she said to him before turning to face me and Mason. "We've actually been together since Friday" I said to them all as I smiled at Mason.

The six of us then continued to talk about our new relationship as we watched the television. Madison, Tammy, Kai and Emily all loved our story of how Mason had asked me to be his girlfriend and the two girls told their lads that they had to dance outside with them the next time it rained. I saw the two boys agree with the girls before turning to each other and shaking their heads. After a while, and after they had eaten the Maccies breakfast they'd ordered themselves, the other two couples headed back upstairs leaving me and Mason. We went into the kitchen to load the dishwasher as we hadn't earlier.
The two of us decided that we would head across to his house for the day and that we would finally FaceTime his parents this afternoon as they kept asking him when they would get the chance to meet me. I decided to drive my car across to his so he wouldn't have to bring me back tonight.
