That Chelsea Boy - Mason Mount

I was now sat on one of the comfy, cushioned seats outside the home changing room while I waited for Mason to come back down the tunnel. He was still out on the pitch doing his media interviews and filming content for the team's app so I kept looking up from my phone now and then to see if he was walking down here yet. I was scrolling through instagram looking at the photos some of Mason's fans were posting from the match. Pretty much the whole Chelsea team had now been in the changing room and come back out to head home saying 'bye' as they walked past me. 

One time when I'd been looking to see if Mason was coming Christian walked out the room. He said "see you around Amelia" before walking past but I shouted "Christian wait" before he got too far away making him turn around. I patted the seat next to me and he smiled before coming to sit down. "You were amazing out there. You're so talented" I told him with a smile. He smiled back before leaning down and placing his bag on the floor. "Thank you that's so nice of you to say" he replied pulling me into a hug before adding "I bet you were stoked when Mason scored, he told me before the match he'd told you he'd score for you" he laughed. 

His American accent came through really strongly when he said 'stoked'. "Yeah I'm so happy for him and you for your assist. I thought that was meant to be a private conversation though" I laughed making him hold his hands up in mock defence. The two of us continued chatting about the game and also about his family who he told me had all watched the match from home despite the horrendous time difference between here and there. We only stopped chatting when he announced he had to get home because he was meant to be FaceTiming them all soon. We waved to each other as he turned the corner and disappeared. 

"Hey Melia" I heard a familiar voice say deeply from behind me. It still feels weird to think of him as actually being my boyfriend now. "Hey Mase congrats on the win babe" I said to him as I saw him walking down the tunnel towards me. I stood up and ran towards him with a smile plastered onto my face. "Thank you" he said once I reached him and he pulled me into a tight hug before kissing me. "Have you been ok down here? No ones been mean to you have they?" he added and I could hear slight concern in his voice. "No its been fine I had a chat with Christian before he left, he told me you told him about scoring a goal" I replied to him looking into his eyes. 

He laughed before saying "I told you that I'd score for you" softly while staring back into my eyes deeply. "I know babe I didn't doubt it for one second I just thought it was between us. We'll celebrate properly when we get back to yours" I said before I winked at him. He smirked before asking "has everyone else already gone?". "Yeah everyone walked past me while I was sat there why?" I asked. "What if we celebrated now?" he said before smirking again and pulling me into the now empty changing room making me giggle.

Once me and Mason had finished 'celebrating' together we both made our way back out of the Chelsea changing room laughing loudly together as we did. As the two of us had been at it in there one of the staff members had come in so we'd hidden in the showers until they'd left again. When we had walked out back into the tunnel Mason went to grab his things and we both turned to see Georgie and Declan approaching us. "Ah so this is the girl who's stolen my best friend off me" he said with a straight face making me tense up but it soon softened to a smile as he walked over hand in hand with Georgie. 

Once the two of them reached us he dropped her hand and pulled me into a tight hug before adding "it's so nice to finally meet you and put a face to all the stories I keep being told". As we pulled away I turned and looked across at Mason who looked embarrassed and was turning red and then at Georgie who smiled. Declan then approached Mason and pulled him into a hug before they started talking about the match together until Mason stood back next to me and wrapped his arms around me before saying "we've got some news we need to tell you".

Georgie smiled at me as she sent a look across to me that signalled she knew exactly what Mason was about to tell the two of them. The brown haired boy stood next to me looked down at me and sent me a small smile before taking a couple of deep breaths and turning to look at Georgie and Declan. "Um guys me and Amelia are officially together now" he said before placing a couple of light kisses onto the top of my head. "I'm so happy for you both mate" Declan said as he smiled across at us. "Wait does this mean that we can go on double dates now?" Georgie asked smiling at the two of us. 

"I'd love that it would be so much fun" I told them all making them smile. "I like her already" Declan said smiling across at me. I smiled back at him before we continued chatting about how Mason had asked me and how we had spun around in the rain outside his house. "Do you both want to come over to ours tonight? We'll get a takeaway and celebrate your news and that goal" Declan suggested. "Yeah that sounds good" me and Mason both said at exactly the same time making us both look at each other and laugh. "Aww look they even say the same things at the same time already" Georgie said.
