I'd been in my room for the last hour getting ready for Mason. It had taken longer than normal as I'd been singing and dancing along to my music. I wanted to look my best for tonight especially since the dress was reasonably fancy. He still hadn't told me where we were going so I didn't have a clue what it would be like. I had finished doing my makeup keeping it simple but still heavier than I normally would as I wanted to look like I'd made an effort. I was already sat in my dress as I began to curl my hair. Once I got about halfway around my head I heard the doorbell ring from downstairs making me pause my music. I heard Emily shout "I'll get it".
"It's Mason" I heard her shout. "Em can you tell him to come up please" I shouted back and it wasn't long after that I heard footsteps and a knock on my door which was already open. "You could've just walked in you didn't have to knock" I told him. "I know I wanted to be polite you could've been naked" he said with a small laugh as he walked in through the door. "Would that really be an issue for you though" I winked at him. "Not at all and hopefully I'll see you naked soon" he smirked before leaning down and kissing me softly. "You look gorgeous by the way" he added as he pulled away making me hide my face in my hands.
"I don't but you definitely do" I told him as I looked him up and down. He was in all black including the new denim jacket he bought the other day. "Thank you thought I'd put some effort in" he replied. He sat on my bed and started to look around my room as I finished my hair. His eyes then fell on the Chelsea shirt still hanging on my wardrobe. "Nice shirt that babe" he said winking at me as I looked at him in the mirror and put the curler down on the side. "Yeah it looks good hanging there doesn't it" "Will look even better on you tomorrow" he smirked before walking over and kissing me before we both headed downstairs.
Madison and Emily walked into the hallway when they heard us come downstairs. "Oh my god that dress is gorgeous" Madison said as she looked at me. "I didn't actually choose it myself" I replied looking across at Mason who was already smiling down at me with his arm around me. "We're taking photos of you two" Emily added grabbing her phone which caused protests from me and laughter from Mason. "Do you have to?" I asked her. "Yeah course we need photographic evidence of your first proper fancy date night" Madison replied. Mason then pulled me closer into his side as he placed a kiss to the side of my head as we posed for photos.
Once my two excited best friends had finished taking all the photos they wanted we headed out the door and towards his car. I had offered to drive us there but he said he didn't mind doing it so that I could have a glass of wine if I wanted to. I looked around and saw that it was already beginning to turn dark out, earlier than it normally would this time of year, and the moon was bright in and clear in the sky. Mason had already unlocked his car and was about to open the door to get in but I stopped him by speaking up. "Mase wait a second babe" I said. "What's wrong? Have you forgotten something?" he asked me.
"No just let me get a photo of you, it'll give you something to post on your insta" I told him. "Alright then" he said rolling his eyes jokingly as he locked his car and started to pose but kept pulling faces to make me laugh. "You're a nightmare to take photos of aren't you babe" I told him laughing as I tried to take a decent photo of him in his outfit. He smiled before he started to walk towards me with his hands in his pockets. I continued taking photos until he got right in front of me and kissed me. "Come on let's go" he said as we went and got in the car and set off for the restaurant.

The traffic to get into the centre of London wasn't too busy so it didn't take us too long to get to the restaurant. Mason pulled into one of the spaces that was just down the street and turned off his engine. On the journey here I had been looking through the photos so turned to him holding my phone screen towards him as he was pulling his keys out of the ignition. "I reckon you should post this one Mase it's my favourite of the ones I took" I said passing my phone across to him. "Yeah I like that one send me it and I'll post it now" he replied before I sent it across and he opened up the instagram app to post it.
Once he'd posted it we both got out and headed to the entrance with Mason helping me to walk in my heels. The waiter, in a suit, came up to us as we entered. "Welcome to The Ivy, my names Chris and I'll be your waiter. What name was the reservation under?". "Mount" Mason replied quietly as I was looking around the building. This place is so posh. "Yes sir please follow me" the waiter replied picking up two menus and walking between all the tables. "This place is fancy I feel so out of place" I told him before we both laughed silently. "I didn't realise it was this posh Ben recommended it" he replied as we got to our table and the waiter sat us down.

Mason and I had finished eating our food with him saying he hoped he wouldn't still be full tomorrow for the match. As we had been walking back to his car he had taken a photo of me outside the Fendi shop next door. That in itself proved how fancy the area was. "Babe I don't think that waiter liked us very much when we couldn't pronounce the names of the food" I laughed as I closed the door and looked across at him. "Na I don't think he did but it was all like in French or something so I don't see how we were supposed to" he replied also laughing as he placed his hand on my bare thigh.
"The food was so nice though" he added. "Oh my god babe it was amazing thank you so much for paying even though I wanted to" I replied with wide eyes at the start. "No worries beautiful you deserve to be spoilt" he said as he reached for my cheek and placed his lips on mine.
