It's been a few weeks since I had my first phone call with Mason's parents and this weekend they're coming up to visit. It just so happens that the weekend they visit I can't go and watch my boyfriend play. "I'm sorry I can't make it to the match today I've got to help Em and Mads with the shop" I said to Mason as we cuddled in his bed and I turned my head to see him pouting at me. "I know don't worry I've told Mum and Dad and they've said they'll take us out for a meal tonight so they get to meet you properly" he replied. "Yeah that sounds lovely" I replied as he kissed me on the top of my head.

I dipped the large, wooden handled paintbrush I was holding into the big tub of cream coloured paint before wiping off the excess and continuing to brush it against the walls of Emily's new salon building. Something I had been doing for the last few hours. She'd ended up buying the one round the corner from our house and she couldn't wait to start doing her treatments for her clients, both new and old, as soon as possible. The three of us had come across to the building today to help her decorate as she would no way be able to do it all herself.
Stacy and Alice, who would be working in the salon too, had also come to help get the salon ready. They all had a set idea in mind of what they wanted the place to look like. It was going to be a truly luxurious experience whenever someone came into the salon for a treatment. When it reached lunchtime and we were all getting hungry we decided to take a break and eat. A few doors away was a small cafe so Alice and Stacy went to fetch some food for us. As we ate I heard my phone ring and I saw Mason's face flash up on the screen, his match must be starting soon.
"Hey Mase" I said answering the phone and holding it up to my ear. "Hey Melia how you getting on?" he asked. "It's going alright yeah but there's still so much to do here" I explained before taking another bite of pizza. "Good luck for the match" I told him. "Thanks Princess me, Tam and Kai are going to help you when we finish here" he told me. "Aww babe thank you that's so kind of you all" I said to him smiling. "No worries babe um I'm sorry but I've got to get back now but I'll see you later" he told me before we both said our goodbyes and he hung up the call.

After a few hours we heard a loud knock against the front door and Emily suddenly ran across seeing the three Chelsea footballers we love stood there with smiles on their faces. "Wow this place looks amazing" Kai told Emily as he pulled her into a hug and looked around. "You lot have been working hard" Tammy added as he greeted Madison. Mason was the last of them to walk through the door and he was carrying a cupholder with four Starbucks cups in it. He handed two of them to Stacy and Alice and I felt my heart swell at his generosity. Mason quickly apologised to them for getting them basic coffees but explained that he didn't want to get them anything they might not like.
He then walked across to me before kissing me and handing me a coffee. "I remembered your order from the other day and got myself the same" he told me smiling. "Thanks oh and getting coffees for the girls was really kind of you" I told him as I wrapped my arms around him and breathed in his scent. He'd obviously showered after the match as he smelt like a mixture of his body wash, coconut shampoo and aftershave. "You smell good" I whispered quietly making him let out a small laugh and say "yeah well you smell like paint". "Congrats" I added. I'd watched the match on my phone. "I didn't think you would've watched it" he replied looking down into my eyes. "I always try to watch your matches".
The other day Kai had driven Emily to IKEA and she'd bought loads of flat pack furniture for the salon including drawers and tables. The two of them started to try and build them but they both soon gave up. "Want me to have a go at doing it half the stuff in my room is from there" I asked them laughing at the end. "Oh yes please" she replied. "Mason can help me with the screws anyway" I told them as Mason stood up from where he was sitting next to me. "Why are there so many parts to it?" he asked me as he looked at all of the pieces that were around us. I laughed before saying "come on babe it's not that hard".

With the help of the Chelsea boys and Stacy and Alice's friends who came along to help us all as soon as they finished their days at work we all finished decorating the salon fairly quickly. "Oh my god you guys it looks amazing thank you so much for all of your help" Emily said with a smile on her face as we all looked around the building. As we were standing there Mason had his arms wrapped tightly around me and I was leaning my head back against his chest. As Emily thanked us he placed a kiss onto the side of my forehead making me smile. "I'm so glad we could help"I told her smiling as she starting taking photos.
"Come on we better get going, don't want to be late for the meal" Mason told me as he turned and looked into my eyes. "I know yeah, haven't decided what I wanna wear yet" I replied making him smile before I picked up my things and followed him out to his car.
