After a while of walking, Tommy was finally led to the house next to his. Suddenly, he jumped away from Crow, Ghost, and Tiergon, and into his bedroom window, locking it behind him. He ran around the house and locked all of the doors and windows.
"Tommy! Protect yourself!" Ghost yelled.
Tommy ran back to his bedroom and stuck his head out the window.
"Who's Tommy? There's no one home. Unless, of course..." He held a family photo out of the window. "He's the little blonde in this picture." He pointed at himself.
'Please, leave him alone,' Techno signed, playing along.
'I don't think I will.' He pulled his head back into the window and pulled down the blinds. He quickly changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt, exposing his scarred arms.
[no, it's not s/h, it's battle scars]
He ran to the front door, unlocked it quietly, made sure Crow, Tiergon, and Ghost couldn't see him, then grunted and quickly locked the door again before throwing himself on the ground on his back.
"Tommy? Is that you?" His brothers rounded the corner to the front door and found Tommy with bleeding cuts all over his arms. His most recent wounds had reopened and they were hurting him.
"Oh, gods, Tommy! Are you okay? What happened?"
"I'm fine, for the most part. That person got away, though."
"Where is that child?" Crow asked, coming around the corner.
"They got away," Tommy replied. "Now, if you don't mind, I need help patching these cuts up." He signed to Tiergon to ask for help with his cuts. His brother led him back into the house and to the bathroom. After having his cuts patched up, he hugged Techno.
'Thank you for playing along.'
'Of course. Are you ever going to show Dad and prove to him that you're not as useless as he thinks?'
'I've been considering it... How about this: I'll let him catch me next time you three are patrolling, then I'll escape and expose myself and see how he reacts.'
'Sounds fun. Need help?'
'Yeah. Try not to laugh at his face, no matter how funny it is.'
'Can do.'
