Sakina grabbed Naire's phone and played the song, 'Breakin' my heart' by Mint Condition. She began singing the lyrics while Ebony and Naire simply stared at her in amazement, her voice was amazing. Even Ebony bobbed her head slightly in beat.

It was currently 9pm and they were still 'working' on the their assignment, truthfully, they were vibing to music and enjoying each other's company. From learning each other's favourite shows, songs and food, they were slowly getting to know each other. At least at a surface level. Just basic things but Sakina loved every bit of it.

"Breaking my heart!" She sang out, holding a fork as a mic while Naire cheered her on with a smile.

As the beat played, Naire lifted Ebony, stood up and began dancing around with her. Making the baby giggle on excitement as she listened to Sakina sing as the background.

Naire stayed quiet and froze when the high note started, listening as Sakina hit every bit perfectly. Her jaw dropped to the floor as she listened, Ebony's face mirroring her's. They were both surprised at Sakina's singing prowess.

"Oh please, I'm not that good." Sakina chuckled as she sat back on the couch and pulled her plate onto her lap to finish the food.

"You playin', right?" Naire asked, "You good as he-" She was about to cuss until Sakina put her finger on Naire's lip and shushed her.

"Don't cuss while Ebony's right there." Sakina said seriously, which just made Naire chuckle at how aware she was.

"Aight, my bad, ma." Naire stared at Sakina as she apologised before putting Ebony on the couch, sitting her between the two girls.

Sakina widened when Naire said, 'ma', she grabbed the fork and tried to eat but she was so distracted that the Alfredo splattered on her top then onto her pants. She shot up and put the plate down while Naire stood up too in surprise.

"You good?" Naire asked, watching Sakina pick the pasta up and hold it.

"I'm gonna just go change." Sakina mumbled.

"Actually, its a bit late. I gotta put Ebony to sleep na." Naire mentioned softly, making Sakina look up at her.

"Oh. Yeah you're right. I should get going." Sakina replied, she grabbed her laptop and phone before waving at Ebony and walking towards the door.

"Imma catch you later, Sakina." Naire said as she held the door open and Sakina nodded before she walked out.

Hiding the smile because she liked the way Naire said her name. It gave her butterflies.
