Naire Carter
New York City, New York

A few months had gone by, it had been a smooth journey. Nothing drastic except the growth of their child and Ebony too. Everyone was developing fast and the routine had come together quite well.

Sakina eventually stopped paying for the other apartment since she wasn't actually living there. They were looking for much more spacious apartments, penthouses even. Since the baby was coming in just a three months, it was essential that they had enough space.

"Why didn't you like that one?" Naire asked, her patience was slowly wearing thin with Sakina.

"It smelled weird and I just had a bad feeling." She complained as she waddled towards the sofa, then she slumped down with a groan.

Naire watched her with a warm expression, watching as Ebony ran over to sit beside her and rub her belly. Lately, Ebony was all over Sakina's belly and constantly tried to talk to the baby. They didn't know the gender yet and they wouldn't until she gave birth.

"We ain't ever moving out at this point." Naire complained too, dragging her feet to the bedroom where she'd probably sleep.

"You annoyed at me?" Sakina asked, her voice was squeaky as she shouted, making Naire turn around before walking over to her.

"Nah, it's just taking a bit long. I want everything to be perfect 'fore this baby comes." Naire groaned, reaching over to grab Sakina's shoulders and rubbing them, making Sakina sigh in relief.

"This apartment is just too small for two kids." Naire glanced around, quickly turning the light off in Ebony's bedroom before walking back into her's and Sakina's bedroom.

Her eyes were glued on her partner, who was rubbing lotion on her swelling belly. Sakina was glowing, she was the prettiest pregnant woman Naire had ever seen. Heck, she was the prettiest woman Naire had ever seen. To see her willing to give birth to her child made Naire's chest bubble up with gratefulness and excitement towards their life together.

"Lay back, I'll rub your feet." Naire said to Sakina, who immediately laid back with pillows behind her.

She exhaled deeply as Naire sat down on the bed and got some oil, before rubbing it on her foot and beginning to massage her. Focusing on the massage, Naire couldn't feel Sakina's eyes as they took in the sight. Sakina's pregnancy had been smooth so far, which was expected because she was extra careful with everything but one thing bothered her...

They hadn't had sex in months. Ever since she'd had a miscarriage, Naire hadn't touched her since and Sakina was too scared to bring it up.

Maybe she wasn't into sex with pregnant women?

Maybe she didn't find Sakina attractive anymore?

It was hard enough that Sakina couldn't see the 'glow' that everyone was talking about, now Naire was no longer desiring her like she did before. Being pregnant was hard for her since she was petite so the belly stood out even more, it was hard because she loved her child but she didn't feel as pretty as before.

"Imma do your other foot, then I'll go shower." Naire announced, looking through her lashes as her eyes met Sakina's unreadable ones. She watched as Sakina looked away with a slightly annoyed expression, which only confused Naire.

"Sakina?" Naire asked, Sakina still didn't look at her.

"What's the problem, mane?" Naire asked again, clearly feeling slightly impatient before she finished massaging the other foot and getting up.

"Whatever. Imma go take a quick shower, shout my name if you need anything." Naire said before getting up and walking to the bathroom, shaking her head at her lack of communication.

After a hot shower, Naire had slipped into bed, placed a kiss on her forehead before falling asleep. Sakina simply laid awake beside her, her hormones had been raging and she didn't know what to do. This pregnancy had multiplied her already raging sex drive and it was in her head 24/7.

She trailed her eyes at Naire who was sleeping on her back, she had on boxers and a sports bra and a durag. Her face looked calm and peaceful, Sakina didn't want to interrupt that. She looked down at her pinkish lips, her round eyes and admiring her lashes. A part of her hoped that the baby had Naire's eyes and lips, they were her best features but truly, Sakina loved everything about Naire.

The duvet came up to her knees, Sakina simply took her hands and kissed them before turning around and trying her best to fall asleep.

"Why you still awake, ma?" Naire asked groggily, her voice was low and curious as and rubbed Sakina's arm.

"I'm not tired." Sakina sighed, turning to face Naire who's eyes were slowly becoming open and wide.

Naire leaned over and gave Sakina a peck before pulling away, which Sakina impulsively refused to separate and ended up connecting their lips again. Deepening the kiss and placing her arm on Naire's face, enjoying the connection between them as the kiss continued, hands roaming around and breath being lost.

Pulling away, Naire looked into Sakina's eyes and sighed, "You been wanting this?"

Sakina nodded in the slightest way, making Naire's eyes widen slightly in surprise.

"You'on do nothing to me anymore. I feel so pent up and you don't even look at me the same." Sakina finally spoke up, looking back into Naire's eyes, who was listening intently.

"Baby, I thought you wouldn't want me doing nothing because you'd be worried about the baby." Naire reached over and placed a hand on the baby bump, her warm hand feeling foreign on Sakina's skin.

"No. No." Sakina said before grabbing Naire's hand from her stomach and placing it on her breasts. "I need your attention."

"Shit. I didn't know you was feeling this way." Naire inched closer, beginning to shower Sakina in kisses all around her face and neck.

This was going to be a long night.
