"Ok guys, take five!"
San's voice came as a blessing to everyone's ears as half the cast collapsed on the stage floors, muscles burning and aching as a result of rehearsing the first act back-to-back for too many times in a row.
"At least we're halfway done" Joy tried to cheer the other three girls up. A failed attempt, Haru thought, as Soojin groaned in pain holding her left calf.
"He's going to kill us all" the girl whined, referring to none other than the choreographer who was now excitedly speaking to Mr. Choi about something inherent to the second act.
Haru didn't dare to say a word as she diverted her eyes from him, trying her best to ignore the filthy flashbacks from just two nights prior. And still, the images flooded her mind: the ones of their nightly endeavors were a little blurry, but she perfectly recalled the ones of the morning after. She did, after all, promise him round two in the morning and she wasn't the type to break that promise.
"A simple good morning could've been enough"
Haru had to admit; being pressed between the kitchen table and the man she had spent the night with was exactly how she had expected her day to start. He sneaked a hand towards her front, caressing her belly form under the t-shirt she was wearing
"Why do that when I can do this instead?"
He began kissing down her neck, pulling the collar of the shirt so that he could expose more skin.
"If you say anything about having me for breakfast, I'm kicking you out"
"Then I better use my mouth for something else, don't you agree?"
...
"Hey...Hey! Earth to Haru!"
"Uh...yeah, sorry, what was it?"
"Nothing, you just look a little off" Jimin observed.
"I'm okay, just tired" she replied "Soojin is right, maybe he is on a mission to kill us"
"Look at the bright side...we're going out for ice cream after and no you're not allowed to ditch us again"
Haru chuckled then nodded her head in approval, the thought of a savory treat after working her ass off for half the day helping her ignore the burn in her arms and legs. Then, someone obstructed her line of vision. Someone she didn't wish to see.
"Hey" she greeted Yunho, her voice sounding more tired than annoyed. Just because San was in her guts, literally, a few days before, it didn't mean that she got special treatment during rehearsals. Quite the contrary, to be frank.
"I'm surprised you're still standing" he observed "He's putting us all through the wringer today"
"Don't let it fool you... at this point, I might as well be dead" she answered, chugging down her water.
"I know I am" Soojin quipped from beside her, now completely sprawled out on the ground. It was only a matter of time before she was being dragged by her feet by Jimin, eliciting a laugh from the half of the cast that wasn't in her same exact conditions.
"At least we're almost done" Yunho sighed "Are you nervous?"
"For what?"
"You know what we have to rehearse next..."
Ah yes. That.
"I'm not...are you?"
"Not at all" he smirked; a smirk that promised nothing good at all.
