Dance practice with San was definitely something.

Haru knew dance was not her strongest point, but the musical didn't have much of it compared to other shows she had done so she thought she would've been fine. But boy oh boy was she wrong.

In almost two hours of lesson, San had managed to make them repeat the same sequence of steps a minimum of 7 times every time he saw someone getting something wrong. When they were finally dismissed, most of them were on the verge of passing out.

"Jongho was right after all, huh?" Joy panted, drying her forehead with a towel.

"Plus, Mr. Choi should really do something about the air conditioning, I never sweated so much in my entire life" Soojin added, almost too tired to change back into her normal clothes.

Haru was sitting on the bench next to her locker, massaging her calves to relieve at least some of the pain. She wondered if she would've been able to drive back home in those conditions. The only positive thing about those two hours was that San may have been one of the strictest choreographers she had ever worked with, but the way he corrected everyone and guided the group made him only look hotter in her eyes.

"Hello, Earth to Haru?!" Soojin exclaimed, moving a hand before her eyes.

"Sorry, I wasn't listening" she admitted, slowly getting up. She felt relieved her legs and arms still worked.

"I said maybe tonight we could all hang out at my place and enjoy an all-girls night? I think we need it after today" Jimin said, fiddling with her car keys.

"I would love too, but I can't tonight, I still have to study some of the songs," she said while tying her shoes.

"It's okay Haru, we'll see you tomorrow at practice then!"

She quickly said bye to everyone and headed out of the changing room. As she was walking in the corridor to get to the parking lot where her car was, she saw Yunho already standing beside his bike. He had been( strangely) pretty quiet in the theatre, following the instructions he was given and not making a scene whenever he had to stand next to her. Maybe he was more mature than she expected him to be?

"You're driving that piece of junk? I'm surprised you're still alive" he said, pointing to her perfectly functioning car.

I spoke too soon.

"Shut up, at least I have a car" she retorted, putting her bag in the backseat.

"Yeah...whatever"

Haru huffed, crossing her arms. And there she thought he was mature. But she needed him to be, at least for the sake of the show. So, she put away her pride and got closer to him, stopping him from getting on the bike.

"What do you want, now?"

"Listen, I for once have something nice to tell you" she started, studying his reaction "I wanted to say that, as much as I hate you and you hate me...you're good. I mean, you're really talented, I see why Mr. Choi chose you for the lead"

Yunho just stood there, dumbfounded. His confused expression was funny to her: he definitely wasn't expecting those words to come out of her mouth, and, in all honesty, she wasn't either. But, if she wanted him to give in a little bit, a bit of bribery was necessary.

"That was unexpected, but for what it counts I think the same about you. I mean... I can see this show means a lot to you" he said, scratching the back of his head. For a moment, he looked like the Yunho she knew in high school: the funny, cute boy she had grown to like. But it was just a moment, an ephemeral few seconds that brought her back to the past and then threw her right back in the present.
