I was going to post yesterday, but then I was at a friend's house after school and when I got home I jumped on the trampoline for a while. But I'm also posting only a week after my last post so... I don't really care. Here's the reason why I actually have art to post.

This art piece and the next two were for a school project. I finished them all in three days and now my wrist hurts. This one is my favorite and I put the most effort into.

The orange one is the original drawing. So the pink one doesn't look near as good. I was comparing how the change in colors affects your emotions.

This was my last drawing and clearly had the least amount of effort. I mean look how tiny her shoulders are and the fact that I used a long canvas instead of a wide.

I was using a pink colored pencil for the sketch and I loved this style so much! I hate line art with a passion so the fact that I could sketch something and just put on some color right away made this so much more fun! I was actually going to make thumbnails (kitty in the corner was my idea), but that clearly didn't end up happening. The little sketch of Blossom (the dragon) didn't look much like her because I didn't plan to draw her.

This was my second attempt at thumbnailing, but the sketch went horribly for the kitty so it didn't happen. Actually none of the sketches went well and that's why the girl has some very interesting color choices. But I did discover that I love the brown I used for the middle girl.
After updating twice in two weeks I'm probably going to disappear for another month... I'm going on vacation next week for Easter Break so either I'll finish Nova or she'll get abandoned again... I hope all of you are doing amazing! -Joy
