It's been a bit since I last posted. It's been really hot over here and unfortunately I have been having to work in my family's garden picking vegetables. Though I am enjoying the fresh veggies.

So is this a sweet fae girl who has been eating strawberries or did she just murder someone??? Idk... Your choice. I got inspired after my siblings and I picked and cleaned strawberries. My forearm and one of my hands were bright pink after cleaning them. There are quite a few mistakes, namely the skirt and the face is darker than I wanted it to be because of layering. The left hand is the skin tone I wanted but accidentally ruined on the face. I do like the pose and how the right arm and the left leg look farther away.

And now onto the blue... I haven't done a full body dragon in a while. I'm really proud of the wings. They look the most anatomically correct out of any dragon wing I have drawn. Her pose is based off a cat when it's on a branch.

This drawing was based off my birthday. She has red eyes and hair because the ruby is July's birthstone. The flowers are larkspurs which is July's flower. With those things I had a plan for a healer type of character. Then I looked up the symbolism for the date of my birthday...which symbolized endings or beginnings but mostly endings. So the dark, morbid side of my brain is like; we should draw a girl with a scythe the same size as her, who wouldn't bat an eye if someone died... So that's what I did. I really like her dress though it took a lot of references and wouldn't make any sense with the fact she wields a scythe. But art logic says if it looks cool together it doesn't matter. I used that logic in the decision to make her sitting on her scythe...

Ayyye it's this dude again plus his sister!!! If you don't know who I'm talking about he is the guy with the giant lynx. The one problem with having dark skinned characters is you can't see my very thin line art well... And he likes to wear dark clothing sooooo there's no contrast as well... Good job, me. My paper also isn't meant for markers so if I layer them more than twice it gets all splotchy which was a problem for the skin and his pants...
