This is probably my favorite spread so far. All but the bottom mermaid are OCs I made last year during Mermay.

Mermay Day 5: Space. This is a oc I made last year in Mermay. I really happy with how the galaxy turned out. I mapped out the colors in colored pencil and then went over it in alcohol markers. I was comparing it to last year's drawing of her and oh my am I proud of how much I have improved. Would you like to see the comparison?

Mermay Day 6: Comic. Sooooo this got out of hand. I was going to do a black and white drawing with maybe a pop of color and the comic book texture but then I drew this pose. So then I had to do this oc and then I realized this was a merman so I had draw actual muscles, but it was too late cause the initial sketch looked really cool. And then I lost a lot of the comic book effect because I didn't do it in black and white. But old comics like drawing buff men so I'm giving myself a pass and I attempted a bit of the texture as well.

Mermay Day 8: Victory. This one was very low effort after the amount of time I put in the last three...
I'm out of school now so hopefully I'll remember to update more. 😅 -Joy
