Sooooo I'm going to start a different art book since this one is more than two years old. My art has improved a ton in that time period. I don't want people reading my first few chapters and then leaving cause the beginning art doesn't represent my abilities as an artist anymore.

I actually found the fandom before I got into the actual show. The fandom was the only reason I watched the show at all because I hated Marinette's awkwardness around Adrien. Also I kinda spoiled some things for myself which helped stave off the confusion I felt in the first season.

I'm very happy with how this page turned out. For some reason I had a winter outfit for Cat Noir stuck in my head so that happened. Keep in mind I started this page back in like September so it wasn't even cold yet. I drew some alternate universe Adrien and Marinette before the special came out as well.

This is digital art and I was using a reference so it's a bit different. I can't see many huge problems other than the eyes. This is from November 2022.

Finally my most recent drawing. No reference was used so it was completely done from what I've learned about human anatomy. Her face is far more expressive with a turn of her lips. The eyelashes aren't spider legs and the nose isn't near as basic. She has actual wavy hair with highlights and shadows.
I'm going to end with this. Don't give up on art. We all have to start somewhere. Those famous artists are just farther on their journey than you are on yours. Thanks for all of your support and advice. I'll be back with more art soon. In the meantime, keep on drawing. -Joy
