I haven't done traditional art in a while. I tried out my new sketchbook and oh my goodness it's amazing! It's for alcohol markers and the markers don't bleed to the other side at all!! I did some pretty heavy blending with the wood texture too! I'm really happy with how this drawing turned out. There pose was quite hard so it took a lot of fiddling with it. Then I realized the dress was nearly scandalous and I had to give her some undies. ;)

This was for a contest on another site. Basically I was given a dress and I was supposed to draw my oc in it. I found a good reference for this with a dress and parasol. Now it's giving off Mary Poppins vibes... Oops.

This one was the opposite. I couldn't find a reference... I have a problem with imagining extremely specific powers and then not being able to find a reference. I can imagine the pose just enough to want to do it but not enough to know how to break down the shapes. There's poses also seem to only use one arm and then I have no idea what to do with the other arm... This was one of those drawings. I'm happy with how it turned out though.
