I was in the drivers seat when it happened. I had just driven past a large building that held a large sign saying something about government and laboratory. I was too busy watching the sky when it happened. Large chunks of building and cars were floating in the sky. For a moment I believe that I might be having an acid trip, but just as I was turning left I felt my car shake. It was subtle at first until the car had lifted into the air.

I had attempted to take off my seat belt and get out of the car before I joined the large clump of metal in the sky. Only when I had tried to open the door to my car did it go flying in the direction of the buildings, throwing me straight through the wall of the laboratory. I felt the surge of liquid around my body before the darkness consume my mind. The only thing I could feel before it happened was my body was heating up rapidly.

When I came to I was in a very clean white room. I noticed a man asleep on the table across the room. He was wearing glasses that suited his short brown hair. He had a pen in one hand and was resting his head on the other. I slowly moved as to not wake the man, I looked around looking for any sign of the date or time until I saw a clock reading 7:26 am.

I slowly attempted to get out of the bed I had laid in but was stop by the sound of the doors opening. I quickly scrambled back into the bed and pretended to be asleep once more. I hoped that who ever was walking through the doors hadn't noticed me move around. I tried to slow my breathing as I listened for any sounds from either of the people.

"Hank, I assume that you didn't sleep last night judging by the fact you are taking a power nap on your desk. " The voice came from a man in a wheelchair. He was wearing a lavender sweater and had longer, flowing hair. I slowly looked back at the man with glasses who had jumped suddenly, scrambling to grab the items he knocked off his desk while waking up.

"Oh Charles, you scared me. Sorry I was trying to finish some calculations before heading to bed. I'm not sure I made it to bed." Hank stood up and began to walk over to the table behind him. It held stacks of papers with pencils and pens strewn all over. He and the man called Charles suddenly froze in place, both looking in opposite directions. Hank nervously turned to him slowly, then turned to look at me.

I held my breath trying willing him stop looking my way. Frozen in place on the firm hospital style bed, I laid quietly. That was until I heard a voice call out to me. 'Hello. There is no need to hold your breath I know you are awake.' I stayed still for a moment more attempting to convince them I was truly asleep. It took me a few more seconds to realize that the voice came from inside my own head.

I slowly opened my eyes to see both of the men staring at me. The men were a mere few feet away from me at this point. I began to sit up slightly before my head began to pound and ache. The man with the glasses quickly brought me a glass of water. "Here, you are slightly dehydrated, it appears your body is requiring extra water intake." Hank spoke with such shyness I almost reached for the water. I hesitated to grab the water from the unknown man who had offered it to me. I didnt know either of these men, for all I knew they were going to poison me with this water.

"We aren't going to poison you we spent all this time caring for you already. It would be quite counter productive to kill you now." The man in the wheelchair looked straight at the water as he spoke to me. I had thought it sounded it reasonable Until I realized that I never voiced the thought out loud to the men. I placed the water on the floor and slowly backed up on the bed. "Oh I do apologize my dear, I am Charles Xaviar do not be afraid. I understand that you are confused so let me and my friend here, Hank McCoy, explain what is happening." The man spoke softly to me as to not startle me.

I had never been so confused in my life. I was a simple reasearcher for a news firm and now I am sitting with two men in what seamed to be a labratory or car facility. While my mind was racing I hardly noticed that the water in the cup I had set down began to rise into the air. The man with glasses was crouching down near the cup looking at the way the liquid floated about. "This is fasinating I've never seen someone gain the ability to control an element. When you crashed through the labratory the molecule splicer must have changed the level of water in your cells and the control water in the air around you." Hank spoke with so much enthusiasm that you were forced to listen.

"What happened when I was in my car?" The only thing that I had been wondering at the time was how I ended up here. I was read for an answer as to why I woke up in this place with no knowledge of how I got here.

"When you were driving by the labratory your car was pulled into a ongoing battle between a few of us and a man named magneto. He took control over your car and it had been throwing through a wall of the labratory. You had fallen into the molecule splicer, I believe it rearranged your cells and gave you the abilty to control water or any liquid element." I cant believe what he had just told me. I gained powers from a accident? "You had fallen into a coma for a number of months." Months? Ive been asleep for months?

"How long?" I thought about all the things I could have missed. Do I still have a job? Do my parents know what happened to me? The questions soared through my mind as I sat frozen in my seat.

"There is no need to worry about any of those things my dear. You were comatoes for six months." Charles wheeled closer to me and put hand onto my arm. I started to calm down knowing these men were here to help me. I put my hand on top of Charles, looking straight into his eyes. He had gentle eyes that welcomed me in. I felt as though I could trust him. I glanced over to Hank who was frantically writing in a notebook  glancing at me periodically. He too seemed to be kind enough to trust.

"So what did I miss?"
