Your POV

Hi there, my name is (Y/N) (L/N), and... I have a gain a reputation for being the shy kid at my school. Whenever people try to come up to talk to me, I get really anxious, I mix up my words, and I feel like I was on the verge of crying. I try not to feel this way, but you know... it is what it is.

But if there is one thing I like to do when it comes to things outside of school, is play video games from my Nintendo Switch. The game I have in there right now is Smash Bros. Ultimate, and I have unlocked most of the characters already. But since I'm in high school now, my mom thought I should start looking for a job soon.

"Son, were able to find a job?" My mom asked as she came into the living room while I was studying.

"No, not yet. I honestly don't know who is hiring." I replied.

"Would you like some help in finding one?" She asked.

"Umm, no... I think I got it." I replied.

"Are you sure?" She asked again. "There's nothing wrong with asking your mother for help."

"I know, but I am willing to do this on my own."

My mom smiled at me.

"Well, I am proud that you want to do this by yourself, but don't think I am not aware of your shyness." She said.

"Yeah, I'm aware of that."

My mom is a nice person and all, but to be honest, she has become a different person ever my dad left her.

The following weekend...

Location - Downtown Area

When the weekend rolled around, I started looking for a job so my mom couldn't get on my case anymore. But here is the issue: I've been outside for an hour now, and trying to find a job I can feel comfortable doing.

After a while, I turned the corner and started walking down a little further, and without realizing it, I bumped into someone and we both fell into the ground.

"S-Sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you!" I said.

I looked up and got a good look at the person. In front of me was a girl with purple hair and crimson eyes. I looked at the uniform she was wearing, too. It was from Haneoka Girls' Academy.

"Oh, it's okay. You're not hurt, are you?" She asked as I looked deep into her eyes.

"Y-Yeah, I'm okay." I shyly replied as I stood back up.

"Again, sorry for bumping into you. I'll be on my way now." I said and just ran away from the girl.

"Wait!" She called out.

That stopped me in my tracks. I looked towards the girl who didn't seem mad at me at all.

"Why are you in such of rush?" She asked.

"I just... felt bad for bumping into you earlier." I said with a guilty look.

"You don't have to feel bad for me." She replied. "I'm perfectly okay."

"Oh, if you say so..."

Moments later...

Location - Live House CiRCLE

I arrived at a place I have never seen before. A place called Live House CiRCLE. I've always heard about these live houses from the females at my school, but this is the first time I have seen one in person. As I was staring at the building, I noticed someone coming towards me. It was a much older woman and it looked like she works here. I had to ask if she was hiring or not.

"Hello, can I help you?" She asked.

I was starting to feel nervous about talking to someone else again, but I can't keep feeling like this forever.

"Umm, forgive me for asking, but is this live house hiring?" I asked.

The woman smiled at me.

"Why yes it is. I've been hoping to get some help here for a while now."

"Is that so? Then umm... can I apply for a job?" I asked.

"Of course!" The woman happily replied. "Step inside and we can get started with the process."

"T-Thank you." I stuttered a bit.

"No problem at all. By the way, my name is Marina. What's your name?" She asked.

"My name? It's umm... (Y/N) (L/N)." I nervously answered.

"(Y/N)-san, huh? That's a nice name." Marina smiled.

"Really? Thank you..." I replied and smiled back.

"Now then, let's go inside and we can take care of the process." Marina suggested as she proceeded to head inside the live house.

As I followed her inside, I started to think that maybe this won't be so bad after all. Although I have never worked at a live house before, I am eager to learn.
