I wake up, with the morning sun breaching into my room, and the time being 8:02. It's Saturday, meaning I don't work today. I sit up and rub my eyes once more, and I look at my nightstand and see my phone. I grab it and go to contacts, where I only have my parents and Ralph. I decide to call my parents, because it's been like almost a month since I last called them. I wait for the ringing to end and the voice of my dad comes on
"Hey son, it's been forever since you last called us" I then say
"It's only been a month dad" I hear a chuckle and my dad then says
"So how are you holding up son?" I then said
"Good, what about you?" My dad then says
"Same here, but the marshal wants us on these special operations and that seems to just throw it away" I then say
"I feel you dad, but I just wanted to call to say I miss you guys" my dad says
"We miss you too son. Me and your mother will hopefully be home by December" I then say
"Alright, bye dad" he says goodbye back, and I hang up the phone. I put it back on the nightstand and when I'm about to get off my bed, I hear a knock on my door. I then say
"Come in" the door slowly opens and that's where I see Elysium, standing there. She walks in my room and asks me
"Who were you talking to?" She sits on the bed next to me, and I then say
"Oh, just my parents" Eli then asks
"Well where are they, why aren't they here to take care of you?" I then say
"Well you see, both my mom and dad are Bronze Guard, so they have to do all these operations and stuff like that and don't really have the time to come home. They call me and send me letters, but I just wanna see them in person once again" Eli then says
"Oh my gosh! That's so sad!" I then say
"You get used to it, eventually" Eli puts her arm over my shoulders and says
"At least you have me" I look at her, and she looks at me. I could feel her move closer to me, but that's when I receive a notification from my phone. I immediately pick it up and see it's just Ralph. I put it down and tell Eli
"You know what, it's my day off today" a smile appears on Eli's visor, and I then say
"So what do you want to do today?" Eli thinks for a minute and then says
"Let's have breakfast!" I get off the bed and Eli follows me to the kitchen. I then start to make pancakes for Eli and me, and after a few minutes, they're ready. I put them on a plate and Eli begins to gobble down the pancakes, a little too fast. I tell her to slow down but she doesn't listen, but that's when she freezes and begins coughing, as if she were choking! I rush over to her and wrap my arms around her stomach and begin thrusting into her, and after a few of them, she coughs the food out. I let out a sigh of relief but that's when I look at Eli, who has a pink visor now. I immediately let go and ask her
"Eli, are you alright?" She looks at me and says
"Yes, I'm fine. Thank you Georgie" I smile at her and then ask
"Well, now that you are alive, do you wanna watch a movie or something?" She says then
"Yes please!" I walk over to the couch and me and Eli sit down on it. I stand back up and put a cassette in the TV box and a movie begins playing, of course a romantic one. The movies about two soldiers who fall in love with each other, but I've watched this one a million times, but Eli is so into it. About 30 minutes into the movie, I begin to feel something wrap around my waist slowly, and lo and behold it's a tail. Eli's tail. She then put her head on my shoulders and had a smile on her visor the whole time. I look at her and there's nothing I could do but smile at her as she looks at me and says
"Can I tell you something George?" I then say
"Sure, what is it?" She lifts her head up and looks at me in the eyes and says
"I think I..." I sit there nervously and that's when the final words come out her mouth
"I...love you" I sit there in shock as I say back
"What did you just say?" She looks at me and says
"I love you! Ok! There I said it!" I sit there as she looks at me and says
"So, do you love me back Georgie?" I continue to sit there in shock, thinking what the hell to say, but I finally man up and say
"I...love you too" she smiles and blushes at me and says
"Aww Georgie, I knew that the second I saw you you'd be the perfect man for me!" I smile back and say
"So you wanna make it official?" Eli then asks
"How?" I wrap my arms around her shoulders and pull her closer to me, until me and her are kissing each other. I make this moment last forever, and I finally disconnect from our kiss, and me and Eli are both in shock. I look at her and she looks at me, and that's when we kiss once more, making a man like me and a Protogen like Eli happy.
3 HOURS LATER
I come out of the bathroom, and I walk downstairs to where I see Eli sitting on the couch, the movie she was watching just finishing. She looks back and see's me, that put a smile on her visor. She then said
"Hey babe!" I then ask her
"Babe?" She looks at me and says
"Of course! We're dating now right?" I then say
"Oh yeah, of course we are. But listen, we have to stop watching romantic movies." Eli then asks
"Well what do you want to do?" I think to myself and say
"Wanna go for a walk?" She then says
"Hell yeah!" I look at her and she then says
"S-Sorry for cursing" I then say it's alright. I grab my coat and lead Eli out the door and into the deep woods. We walk down a dirt path and look around and see multiple trees and plants, and that's when Eli stops in front of a red flower, a rose. She picks it up and looks at me and says
"Here you go babe" she hands me the rose and I do nothing but smile and hug her. We continue walking down the path, and that's when Eli asks
"Hey Georgie, why do humans hate me?" I stop and she stops too, and I then say
"Well, I think it's because you guys started the war 150 years ago" Eli then asks
"The Great Heretic Crusades?" I nod a yes and she says
"Oh yeah, your right" I look at her in her eyes and tell her
"Don't worry, you're safe with me" she smiles and we continue walking down the path, observing the amazing wildlife, but that's when me and Eli begin to hear chattering in the distance. We slowly walk to it and see the crash site of Eli's jet, and see multiple Bronze Guard and Automatons checking the wreckage. I tell Eli to hide behind a tree as they almost spot us, but now I know something. They know that Eli is here, and those guys probably want to kill her. I signal Eli to rush back home, but when I'm about to rush back too, I trip on a rock, and a loud thud comes from when I hit the ground. The soldiers become alert if this and begin to walk in the direction of the sound. I stand back up and run as fast as I can back home.
I open the door, and me and Eli make it home without any soldier seeing us run back home. Me and Eli sit on the couch, both exhausted from the running, but that's when Eli says
"I'm sorry Georgie" I then ask
"For what?" Eli responds with
"For putting your life in danger like that" I don't say anything, but that's when I put my arm over Eli's shoulders and tell her
"It's not your fault, you just wanted to see nature, that's it." Eli then whispers
"So can we stay as boyfriend and girlfriend?" I then say
"Absolutely" I kiss Eli, and for the second time in my life, I experienced love
