Everyone who survived the attack all walked up the stairs to the top of the stairs, which rifles and swords and shields in our hands. I pulled out a keycard from my pocket and slid it on the card scanner to unlock the door. The door opened, and an array of bullets flew out from the room, almost killing me. I moved out of the way and tried shooting inside the room, but thats when I looked inside to try and see what we were facing, and all it was, was a one man army. I fired my rifle inside and was able to shoot the man, and left him laying on the ground near the ships terminal. I lead everyone inside and the man attempted to stand up, but fell on the terminal.
I walked over to him and turned him over to where we were face to face, and thats when I saw it was Captain Adar. He spoke to me with his voice tired and deep
"Killing me...won't change anything" I grabbed my knife from my belt and put it under his neck and said
"Maybe so, but if we want to get out of here, this is our best option" He began letting out small chuckles, and thats when I asked
"Why are you laughing?" He looked back and said
"Because, I wanted you all to come here...so you can face the truth" I then saw him reaching for a small red button on the terminal. I then immediately stabbed the knife through his head, but it was too late, he had pressed the button. I released his corpse and looked at the button he pressed, only to see the button having the words "SELF DESTRUCT" on a red button.
Immediately after, an alarm blared over the ship, and a voice came over saying
"ALERT ALERT: SELF DESTRUCT SEQUENCE INITIATED: ALL PERSONNEL PLEASE REPORT TO THE NEAREST ESCAPE POD IMMEDIATELY"
I looked at everyone, all panicked over the alarm, and thats when I yelled to Cyber
"Cyber! How much time we got till the ship blows?" He ran over to me and checked in his tablet, but thats when another alarm blared saying
"SHIP DETONATION IN FIVE MINUTES" He looked back at me and said
"Guess thats your answer sir" I ran back to the terminal, and thats when I found something amazing. I said then to Cyber
"Cyber, apparently your maps are wrong, this looks nothing like your map. I'll send the ship map to your HUD" He said back
"Rodger that sir!" I grabbed my rifle and said
"Listen up everyone! We got four and a half minutes before this ship blows, so let's get to the port and get the hell out of here! Cyber takes lead!"
Cyber began running out the door and we all followed behind him as we began running to the ships port, hoping we'd make it in time. We had a minute left, and we arrived to the port to see it all abandoned and saw a Guard Ship, capable of carrying us all and a jet right next to it. I then yelled out
"Alright everyone load up into the ship, I'll take the jet to provide cover support!" Thats when Daniel said
"You sure about that Philips? You got flight experience?" I then say
"I fly in my free time, at least I used to" He walks into the ship and says
"Your funeral sir!" I climb into the jet, and see it having two seats in it. Before I close the jet hatch, I look at Eli who's about to get inside the ship. I yell out to her
"Hey Eli!" She looks at me, and thats when I say
"You know, I got an extra seat in here. You want to hop in?" She smiles at me and says
"Of course!" She runs to the jet and climbs into the back seat, right behind me. I close the hatch and activate the jets systems. The engine whirrs up and the jets bright lights turn on as I get a voice in my earpiece
"George, do you copy?" I say back
"I copy, prepping for launch" He says back
"Rodger that" With everything all charged up, I engine the jets thruster and we are all launched out of the ship. I follow the Guard Ship as follow the speeding ship, seeing it soar fast through the stars, and just then. A large explosion spreads over the entire ship as it blows up, and I look back at Eli and see her smiling, and thats when she says
"Its what they deserve. For the best as you say George" I say back
"I know Eli, its for the best" I follow the Guard Ship as it heads back to our home world, Philitrix. Where hopefully things can change, where we can make it change.
2 YEARS LATER
I run through the woods, my claws as sharp as knives, my teeth ready to bite into my prey. I chase a wolf through the woods, but not just any wolf, a heretic as the humans call them. I jump over a fallen tree and leap over a large stone, until I finally take one large leap and jump on the heretic. I keep him on the ground as he attempts to escape, with fear in his eyes, but anger in mine. I look at him one last time before finally biting into his neck, blood dripping from my mouth and his neck. I release and all that I am left with is the wolves dead corpse. I stand up and wipe my mouth and look at my claw, covered in blood. Directly after, I hear a whistle near me. I look at it and see my wife, Eli. She looks at me with a smirk and she says to me
"You know what I think Georgie? I think your abusing your powers" I say back
"Not really, that was a heretic" She lets out a small chuckle and says
"Did I ever tell you that you look cute in Primagen armor?" I say then
"What...this? I made this myself" She slowly walked to me and said
"I still think you look cute, even without it" We kiss, but thats when the crunch of a stick can be heard next to us. We both look at it and see a small Protogen, about half our size. I smile and say
"Oh hey son! How long have you been there?" He looks at both me and Eli and says
"What were you guys doing?" Eli disconnects from me and walks to our son and says
"We were...just hugging" I know that my son thinks we were lying, but better than telling the truth. Just then, a rustle of a bush can be heard, and a Protogen came out of the bush and said
"Hey Hey Hey! Its uncle Ralph!" I look at him and say
"Ralph? How'd you find us?" He looks at me and says
"I know you guys come here every night. So how's the kid?" I say back
" He's doing fine, what about you?" He looks down and says
"Oh me...the same pretty much" We dont say anything for a while, and after that I say
"Well good talking to you Ralph" He says then
"Yeah I better get going. See you guys later!" Just then, laser shots can be heard in the distance. We all divert our attention to it and me and Ralph begin to follow it We arrive to the location of the shots and stay on top of a cliff. We look down and see two people, a protogen and a human. The human seems injured and the protogen is carrying the human to safety, and thats when we see three Synth with guns in their hands. I figured that we can't let the human and protogen die, so me and Ralph jumped behind the Synths and began killing them one by one. Shooting, stabbing, whatever could kill them, until we were left with three Synth corpses. We looked at the human and Protogen, who were surprised. I kneeled down in front of them and said
"Hey there, my names George. What's yours?"
