Me and Eli walked down the flight of metal stairs down to the deepest storage unit on the ship, where everyone would be waiting for us. I looked down and Eli looked at me and said
"You nervous" I put my head back up and said
"Nervous? Well a bit, but not much. What about you?" Eli looks down and says
"Honestly, I am a bit nervous" I look at her and say
"What's there to be nervous about?" Eli says back
"What isn't there? Heavy gunfights, well armed militia men, the military! And worst of all, losing someone who you care about the most" I say back
"What do you think? That I'm gonna die here?" Eli nods a yes and I say
"Well I don't know if I will or will not, but if I do, remember me" she begins to grow a smile on her visor, and that's when we make it to the bottom of the stairs, and at the bottom are two large metal doors. They open automatically and me and Eli step in. We walk into the storage room and see it filled with boxes and crates and multiple inmates down here with us. I notice a Protogen with a tablet and walk to him, and that's when I see it's Chris. He looks back and says
"Ah, thank goodness you made it, you know there was an elevator right?" Me and Eli don't say anything and Chris continues by saying
"Ah doesn't really matter, anyways. I never thought you guys would actually come, but seeing that you are here it shows me that you really want to get out of this prison don't you?" Me and Eli both nod a yes and Chris continues by saying
"Exactly. If you want in on this there are three thinks you need. The skills, the brains and a good heart. Now follow me if you will" Chris leads me and Eli to a crate, which seems to have been converted into some sort of shop with a good three or four people already there. I see inside the shop are multiple guns, melee weapons and all of that inside small boxes. We walk to the man inside the shop and that's when Chris says to him
"Thompson, good to see ya buddy!" The man says back
"Good to see you too Chris!" Chris looks back at me and Eli and says
"This is Thompson, our weapon specialist. He can hook you up with the best of guns, Willbuxian or Furry!" He nods in agreement and says
"Well I'm not trying to be a show off here or anything" Chris then says
"Anyways, Thompson, meet the new members of the prison break. George and Eli" he puts his hand out and says
"Pleasure to meet the both of you!" We shake it back and Chris says
"Well make your pick guys!" Thompson then says
"You know what Chris, these two look like laser rifle people" Chris nods in agreement and says
"You know what maybe you're right, give these two some laser rifles!" Thompson goes to the back and comes out with two rifles. Me and Eli grab them and I take a good look at mine, and so does Eli, and that's when Chris says to me
"Ever fire a gun before?" I say back
"Uhh yeah...as a kid" Chris looks at me confused and says
"A kid? What made you use a gun as a kid?" I froze, and soon I feel like I had a flashback
"GEORGE!...GEORGE TAKE THE SHOT NOW!" I carried a sniper rifle in my hand, struggling to lift it up with all the shivering my body was doing, and what I saw just made it even worse. I saw my dad struggling to prevent an automaton from stomping on his head. I had relaxed for a few seconds, and with the very little time I had, I pointed the rifle at the automaton and pulled the trigger
