POV START: UNKNOWN
I sat in the co-pilot seat, and I looked forward to see the dark abyss of space, along with multiple Guard Ships near us, all heading to the main attraction itself, the S.S Stoic. The pilot gave me a tap on the shoulder and said
"Hey, ETA two minutes, better check on the prisoners" I say back
"I don't want to get infected, you do it!" He looks at me with a serious face and says
"Just do it Ryker" I unbuckle my seatbelt and open the cockpit door and head out
I go to where the prisoners are, and see the two of them, hugging each other, and I think I hear them whispering to each other. Ew, heretics. I go to a seat on the other side of the ship and sit right in front of them, able to see the both of them clearly. The human notices me and disconnects from their hug and says
"Oh, I was hoping you didn't see that" I say back
"It's obvious at this point that you are a heretic. Unfortunately, that can only be declared by an Equinator. So with the little time we have now let me introduce myself. I'm Commander Ryker, right hand man for Captain Adar of the S.S Stoic. And who may the two of you be?" The human looks at the furry, and back at me and says
"I'm George, and this is Elysium" I look at the two of them and say
"You know you two seem like a very nice couple" I see fear in both their souls, and that's when the human says
"What are you going to do to us?" I stand up and grab a clipboard from the ceiling storage and sit back down and say
"We'll there are many possible options such as execution, execution, execution, execution, ooh and if your lucky, slavery!" They both looked at me shocked, and I say back
"But as I said before, that is decided by The Equinox" a faint shaking could be felt over the ship, and the back door opened. I stood up and the prisoners followed me. I saw a tall man waiting outside for us, his face with a vicious smile and his hands behind his back. I walked out of the ship and said
"There is the man of the hour! Good to see you Adar!" Adar said back
"It's Captain Adar, now do you have what I requested?" I replied back
"Sure do, one human and one heretic" He looks at the human and heretic with a sleek smirk on his face, but I say then
"And guess what sir, apparently there are a bunch of her species killing millions of our men!" He looks at me, and soon enough, he grabs my neck and feels like he's lifting me off the ground, and then says
"What...did you just say?" I say back with my voice a bit out of air
"I...wouldn't worry....about it...too much sir...They are being hunted down....as we speak!" He says back
"Killing...MY MEN!? First, there are hundreds, now, there are MILLIONS!?" He throws me to the ground and looks back to a soldier and says
"Get these two in cells, and clean up the body"
POV SWITCH: GEORGE
I look at Ryker, who barely has any breath from being choked and is now laying on the ground. I grab Eli's paw and we are both taken by two guards who take us to the ships prison. The prison is massive and seems to have thousands of cells, all for prisoners of war like us. We walk over to a line with other prisoners where we receive our prisoner ID and cell number. Me and Eli receive our ID's and get into the same cell, Cell 26Q. We walk up multiple flights of stairs with the guards and make it to the top floor of the prison, where we arrive to our cell. One of the guards open the door and the two of us are forced in. Me and Eli look back as we see the guards lock the gate and leave. The bars of the cell are laser protected, meaning touching them would result in serious injury. I look back and see Eli, already taken the top bunk, but I do nothing but give her a smirk, but that's when a voice says
"Don't worry kid, I did the same thing when I got here" I look at the other side of the cell and see another bunk bed, and on it, a furry and another Protogen. I stand there for a few seconds, it that's when the Protogen says
"Sorry if I surprised you, didn't really think we'd have roommates. Do you think we can start over?" I nod a yes and the Protogen says
"Thank you. I'm Chris, and my friend here is Matthew" I sit down next to Eli and say
"Hey there you two. I'm George, and this is Eli" The Protogen let's out and says
"Good to meet the both of you" me and Eli shake it back and that's when Matthew asks
"So how'd the two of you get stuck here?" I look at Eli and say
"We were...running from the law. What about you guys?" Matthew says
"Practically the same way you guys got stuck here" I let out a chuckle and say
"So I guess we're all in a pickle huh?" Everyone nods a yes and Chris says
"So I guess we can all help each other out" I ask then
"What do you mean?" He continues
"Well, me and Matthew here have been working on something super dangerous. A prison break. We already have over 30 people in on this, and we need people like you in it too" Matthew continues by saying
We've also been looking into the prison system, and apparently we're all being executed in a matter of three days. Meaning we have less than three days to do this. To do this we need guns, which we already have. A crew, which is us. And an escape point, which is the ship's port. We're also gonna need keycard credentials from a guard to get through locked doors and somewhere to store all this stuff, which can be found easily" Chris then says
"It's a doorway to another realm my friends, and we need all the help we can get. So you guys in?"
I look at Eli, and she looks at me and we both say at the same time
"We're in!"
