Chapter 31

Y/n's POV

Mama woke me up the next day and helped me back into my cosplay. "Hey Aphmau, can you help me with my hair?" Gar asked, knocking on the door to our room. 

"Yeah, give me a few more minutes." Mama said. She finished tying my hair into twin tails. "Alright, go talk with Lucinda, and she'll use her magic to make the mark and dye your hair again." Mama said. I nodded and headed over to the other room. Lucinda was just getting up from sleeping and saw me standing at the door. "Good morning Y/n, want me to dye your hair again and give you that mark?" She asked. I nodded. "Okay, just give me some time to fully wake up." She said. I nodded and sat down on the bed as everyone in the room started getting ready. Gar went over and had mama help do his hair. Everyone finished getting ready before auntie nana went into the bathroom to get ready. "Alright Y/n, let's dye your hair and give you that wonderful mark." Lucinda said. I smiled and nodded as she summoned her staff before tapping my arm and then my head. I ran to the bathroom and watched as my hair started to match Wendy's hair and the mark for Fairy Tail appeared on my arm. I ran out and twirled in front of everyone. "You look adorable, Y/n." Auntie Nana said, coming over and hugging me. 

"Thank you." I said. Lucinda was looking me up and down, thinking about something. "Is something wrong Lucinda?" I asked. 

"You're missing one thing." She said. I thought about it before heading back to the room that I was sharing with mama. I opened my suitcase and found the plushie of Carla that mama bought for me. "Found what I was missing." I said, running back to the other room. 

"Ah yes, it was Wendy's companion." She said. Auntie Nana squealed as her excitement continued to grow. "It's the first day!" She cheered. Gar complained about how his ears hurt because of auntie Nana's squealing. "Katelyn~sama, are you going to join Kawaii~chan in the para-para contest with me this year?" She asked. Auntie Katelyn denied auntie Nana of joining her. "You joined me last year." She responded. 

"That was before I knew it was a dance contest." Auntie Katelyn said. 

"I'm joining Kawaii~chan." Nicole said.

"You're joining her?" Auntie Katelyn asked. 

"I love synchronized dancing." Nicole said. I heard a nervous laugh come from Dante. "Nicole looks adorable when she dances." Dante said.

"Dante, stop." Nicole said, looking away from him. Auntie Katelyn growled as she stared him down. "Lucinda you dropped your staff, let me get that for you." Travis said.

"Thank you Travis." Lucinda said.

"Anything for my girl." Travis flirted.

"Girl? Are they dating Kawaii~chan?" Nicole asked.

"I can hear you from of there. No we're not dating, but I think he is adorable. If he plays his cards right I might give him a chance or even better a kiss." Lucinda said.

"Yay!" Travis cheered quietly.

"What?" Auntie Katelyn asked as she chuckled, "how can you give that creep a chance or even a kiss?"

"Creppy is my type, you're talking to a witch. Plus look at his cute cheeks." Lucinda said looking at Travis.

"Get your hands off him." Auntie Katelyn said. Lucinda looked at auntie Katelyn confused before smirking. "Are you jealous Katelyn?" Lucinda asked. Auntie Katelyn scoffed and looked at her. "No he's just annoying. Trust me I'm saving you." Auntie Katelyn said. Lucinda started teasing auntie Katelyn before I walked back over to the other room and saw papa and Zane in their cosplay. "Why's Aphmau taking so long?" Zane asked.

"I bet she got stuck in the toilet." Papa said. I giggle and nodded in agreement. "Hi sweetie, don't you look adorable today." Papa said walking over to me. He patted me on my head. "With how long she's been in there I think she's drowned by now." Zane said.
