Chap. 6 Mommy's a cat?

Aphmau's POV
I was teaching Y/n a few things since I decided to homeschool her for now, I heard the doorbell ring and the door open. I could hear someone talking with Katelyn but couldn't figure out what they were saying. "Okay, stay here and keep working on the work I'll be right back." I said heading to the our bedroom door. Y/n nodded continuing to do her work as I left, I walked down the stairs as Katelyn yelled for Kawaii~chan. "She's working the afternoon shift today, what's going on?" I asked. Katelyn explained that the crazy cat lady wanted her to watch over nine of her cats, I looked at the cats and counted them thinking that there was one missing. "Hey Katelyn, one of the cats is missing." I said. Katelyn looked around seeing that I was right about the cat missing she started to freak out, we started to look around for the cat as Katelyn checked the main floor I went upstairs to check there. I looked in my room first Y/n was still working on her school work I looked in my bathroom and closet, when I finished in my room I looked at Y/n's work giving her another piece of work to do. "Mommy do I really have to do this?" Y/n asked. I nodded as I heard a sigh come from her as I headed out going to look in Katelyn's and Kawaii~chan's rooms, once I checked their rooms I headed back downstairs seeing that the rest of the cats weren't there. "Um Aphmau where are the other cats?" Katelyn said.
"I don't know, maybe they're in the garage or the basement?" I said taking a guess at where the cats were. Katelyn nodded heading to the garage, I stopped her standing in front of the door. "Can you please go check the basement please?" I begged. She shook her head lightly pushing me out of the way of the garage door. "I know what's down there and I am NOT going anywhere near that." Katelyn said pushing me towards the basement door. I sighed in defeat, I dreaded the thought of going down to the basement. I slowly opened the door as I heard Katelyn go into the garage, I walked down the stairs I looked around avoiding the back of the basement I didn't see anything that was near the front of the basement. "Oh I don't wanna go back there, but I guess I have to." I said to myself. I headed to the back of the basement seeing the shrine that Kawaii~chan had put up for her ship of me and Aaron, I looked through the back of the basement noticing the things she's continued to add to the shrine. "W-well I guess the cats aren't down here hehe." I said letting out a nervous laugh. I quickly left the basement closing the door behind me, I heard a bark from upstairs I ran up there thinking that Celestia and Y/n were fighting. When I opened my door I saw Celestia on the bed with Y/n behind her, the cats were sitting in front of them but again there were only eight I turned around to see another cat. "Hello human." The cat said.
"Okay I have to be dreaming there's no way you, a cat, can talk." I said to myself. The cat shook his head looking at Y/n. "I see this house has both a werewolf and a dog, but no cat." The cat said. I laughed nervously for a second before thinking about Kawaii~chan. "What about Kawaii~chan? She's part cat isn't she?" I asked. The cat shook his head again, he then explained that Kawaii~chan was more human then cat. "Now while me and my brothers stay here, we're going to send you to spend Catmis cheer to someone." The cat said. The cat started to inch towards me, but I stopped him. "Wait you never introduced yourself." I said. The cat stopped nodding before pointing to the other cats. "These are my brothers Donner, Blitzen, Comet, Cupid, Vixen, Prancer, Dancer, Dasher, and I am Randy. Now let's do some magic." Randy said as he waved his paw as a bright light emitted from his paw. I closed my eyes trying to not be blinded by the light, when I opened my eyes again I noticed that everything was bigger. "W-what'd you do to me?" I asked Randy. I looked down to see my hands were now paws and that I was turned into a cat, I walked over to Celestia and Y/n. I talked with Celestia before turning to look at Y/n, she looked a little scared because of what happened.
Y/n's POV
Kitty mommy walked over to me I picked her up and started to pet her, I heard a soft purr coming form mommy after a few minutes she jumped out of my arms running out of the room and down the stairs. "Why did mommy leave?" I asked out loud. The cat that turned mommy into a cat jumped up on the bed. "I'm sorry to have to do that to your mother, but we need her to spread Catmis cheer to someone. We will spend time with you until your mother returns." Randy said. I nodded as all the cats piled onto me, I sat there petting them making sure each got their turn I yawned after a little bit feeling the warmth from the cats starting to make me sleepy. "Are you tired?" Randy asked. I nodded laying my head back on the bed frame, Randy used magic to move me slightly so my head was on a pillow. "Sleep now, I'm sure your mother will return soon." Randy said. I nodded as my eyes slowly closed, I felt something curl up next to me as I started to drift off to sleep.
Katelyn's POV
After I had chased that purple cat out of the house I kept hunting for the other cats, I eventually gave up and went up to tell Aphmau that I couldn't find the cats. I saw that her door was open I looked in to see Y/n asleep on Aphmau's bed with all nine cats, I giggled at the scene I snuck in and took a picture of her and the cats sleeping together. I left the room shutting the door behind me, I wondered where Aphmau went and checked the rest of the house for her but couldn't find her. "Welp Aph left so I guess I have to watch Y/n now too." I said to myself. I turned on the tv and put on a show to watch until the crazy cat lady came to get her cats, after a few hours Aphmau came in the front door. "Hey where did you go?" I asked. Aphmau didn't answer as she quickly headed upstairs, I continued to watch my show leaving her be.
Aphmau's POV
I opened my door to see Y/n sleeping with the nine cats and Celestia, I let out a sigh before waking her up. "Y/n we still have a bit of work to do, but after that we'll go watch some tv." I said. Y/n just rolled over so I sat on the edge of the bed and sat her up, she let out a yawn as she rubbed one of her eyes. "Mommy?" Y/n asked. I hugged her tight before picking her up, the cats woke up after I lifted Y/n from the bed. "Do you want some food?" I asked. I felt Y/n nod against my shoulder I carried her downstairs with the cats following close behind, I sat Y/n down in a chair going into the kitchen the make something for her. "You're not a kitty anymore mommy." Y/n said looking at me. I nodded as I made a peanut butter and jam sandwich for Y/n, I cut the sandwich into quarters setting it on a plate and giving it to Y/n. "Thank you." Y/n said. I patted her on the head making her tail wag excitedly, I walked over to Randy deciding to have a chat with him. "Thank you for letting me spread the 'Catmis cheer' to someone." I said. He nodded walking over to Y/n before rubbing his body against her feet, I heard a giggle come from Y/n as I watched Randy play with her feet. "You know what, how about we just go outside and play in the snow for a little bit?" I asked. Y/n nodded finishing her sandwich before running upstairs to get her jacket, I walked over to the door opening it to see the crazy cat lady. "Hello, Kawaii~chan I've come to pick up my kitties." The lady said. The cats walked over exiting our house to stand next to the old lady, she thanked me before leaving with her cats following behind her.
"Ready to play mommy?" Y/n asked. I nodded walking her outside, before too long Y/n was covered in snow and asked if we could visit Aaron. "Sure, let's go visit daddy." I said.
