The scene shifts to the interior of the island where the other group of the fellow survivors is resting beneath a large tree and a few were sitting on a log. They were eating some rations for them to fuel their energy for a while.

From the bag of rations were fruit cans such as pineapples, raspberries, and peaches. Additionally, there were canned bread, some sandwiches, onigiri, dried seaweed, snacks you may find at a convenience store, and several bottles of water in case of thirst.
Chitose Naruse was the group's leader. The other two were Ichiro Tsubata and a timid Nori Rokuyama.
The next person, who is a fellow survivor, was Kai Kazuhiko. He had shoulder-length hair and appears slimmer than an average high schooler. He wore a simple red button-down shirt with jeans and brown boots.
The girl who is sporty with long, ashen hair pulled into a ponytail is Ai Inou. She is part of the sports team at school known as the "Wonder Vogel Club." On her right shoulder was a red bag with a white cross saying "First Aid Kit", a medical need for use to help those that are hurt. Inside were a variety of supplies that will help treat cuts, scrapes, and injuries, including sprains and burns.
Ai's clothing is an orange jacket with white stripes on both sides of her arms, olive green shorts, and a pair of running shoes.
The two behind her were Satoshi Oda and Hiroshi Tsuge. Satoshi is a young overweight man with short hair, wearing a blue sweater with the words YAS on top and NO on the bottom. Hiroshi has blonde, pompadour hair and is rather delinquent according to his appearance.
Next was Atsushi Kamijo, who has a gangster-like appearance. Atsushi, who is lean and tall in size, has a delinquent disposition that matches his style. With an 'X' blade in his hairline, he shaves the top of his head. His frown and snarl are accentuated by his thin brows. He's dressed in a cream-fur collared vintage aviator jacket. He wears a gold chain and sags his hips with skinny jeans. He cares about his looks, based on his clothing. Atsushi, like Hiroshi, is a delinquent, although he has always been seen badly in school.
The pink-haired girl with the twin tails is Mami Miura who is an aspiring idol. She stands out with pink pigtails, attire, and eyes. She wears a white daisy accessory in her hair, even though it is impractical in their situation. She's petite and shorter than her peers. Though she may not appear a regular student like the rest, she does go to school pretty often to get an education.
The other was a girl named Miki Shirakawa. A shy, quiet girl in the group, an alert girl with good hearing due to her timid nature.
And lastly, the girl with long copper-red hair that matches the color of her eyes is Mirei Jinno. She is also a 2nd-year student who appears slim with a generous bust. According to her looks, she is mostly an attractive woman with sexy revealing clothes, like a white long-sleeved button-up shirt covering her black halter crop top, but only a few were unbuttoned from her white shirt just to expose her belly button. She also wears a fluttery flare skirt and long black boots. Her appearance can make other people think that she is more of a hottie, however, her arrogant personality does not match. Mirei does intend to bully and humiliate people she dislikes at school, even Mutsumi. She often kept teasing her further for her obsession with insects. Mirei isn't afraid to use any means of her disposal, including her own body and even other people to get her way.
