The house was quiet, beside the noise of steadily dripping water.
Someone could have failed to properly shut the tap in the kitchen. Maybe it was raindrops hitting the window from the outside.
Dream opened his eyes and blinked a few times to get his vision to focus. He was laying on the couch, George cuddled somewhat against his left side.
They must have fallen asleep during their movie last night, the end of it was blurry to him. Beside that sapnap seemed to have vanished, his right side still lingering with the others body heat.
Wrapping George's arms around a spare pillow, dreams slipped out of his grip and decided to look for the man. It was the early hours of the morning and sap wasn't the person to stand up in the middle of the night.
Maybe he needed to take a piss?
Dream stopped as he saw the shadow of a figure in the kitchen, illuminated by the spare moonlight that broke through the window.
"Sap."
Said person jerked at the mention of his name, although made no move to answer or even look up. His head was hung low over the kitchen sink, his hands gripping onto the sides of it.
"..Sapnap?"
It wasn't more than a whisper now. This lingering feeling of uneasiness crept up inside his throat as he walked closer.
"..It won't stop."
There was a shiver in his voice, a hint of fear mixed with anxiety. At first it confused him, but once beside sapnap, the pieces of the puzzle fell into place.
The bottom of the sink was sprinkled with blood, dripping steadily out of sap's nose. So the noise from before was him.
"How long has your nose been bleeding?"
Its wasn't that abnormal for men to get nosebleed as they grew, for some reason the other seemed more alarmed than supposed tho.
"Ten, or 15 minutes?"
OK no that was a bit long now.
"Stay like that, I'll put an ice pack onto ur neck, that should help a bit hopefully."
They stood there for a while after that, the ravens fingers intertwined with dreams, just them enjoying the silence and steady drip between them.
As soon as the it stopped, both of them sunk onto the floor into a sitting position, sap's head resting onto dreams lap. Like that he had free reach of the others hair, carefully running his fingers through it.
"You know dream, I love you two so much."
He did know that. Sapnap made sure to at least tell them twice a day, every day.
"I do know that. And I love you too."
There was the noise of bare feet walking over wooden floor and a minute later, George sat down next to them, putting his head onto dreams shoulder.
"What you doing here without me?"
"Just talking, sap had a nosebleed."
To that George furrowed his eyebrows, looking down at the youngest member of their trio.
"Again? Isn't that the fourth this week?"
Sapnap stiffened under the other gaze, causing dreams to draw his hand back.
"The fourth? Sap."
There was worry swinging in dreams voice. It felt like a big weight being added onto his chest.
