1| The Encounter

Waking up from his deep slumber, Jimin decided to get up to get ready for work.

Yesterday was a busy day, due to an event within the company, and when there was a party there would be liquor which leads to him being drunk.

Taking a quick shower to freshen up, and choosing some simple suit for work, Jimin came down to the kitchen to ask for his breakfast.

"Aunt Lily, could you make some toast and some cereal with fruit? And some coffee too?"

"Yes dear, I'm going to serve in a minute," says the maid "Thank You" He also reply

Not after some time, the food was served but before he could even touch it his phone vibrated on the top of the table indicating that someone is calling him, After viewing who the caller is Jimin immediately answered his phone.

"Yes, Hobi?" "Morning Jim, I would like to inform you that today is the schedule for the meeting where we meet the engineers and architect together with the board for the new hotel project we have, I hope you're already on your way?"

"Oh yes, I remember. I would be there in ten." "Ok chim, drive safely"

Lowering his phone after the call was ended, Jimin started to eat his breakfast.

Jimin is the CEO of Park's Hotels and Restaurant Company. Which is the company he builds for years with the help of no one, due to being orphan poverty is very evident in his life. That is why he chose to work his self-up to build his own company to achieve a better life, which he succeeded in through the years.

"I'm off to work now aunty! Thanks for the breakfast!"

Jimin's POV

I went to my garage and chose my Mercedez to drive for today. I needed to hurry up or else I will be late for my first meeting, which is an important meeting.

After some time I parked my car inside the building's parking lot and went out to head to my office, to my way there, employees of mine greets me a good morning which I reply back with a nod or a smile.

I fastened my steps to reach the elevator when suddenly a tall guy bumped into me, resulting in me ending up on the floor. "I'm very sorry, I'm in such a hurry right now" that's the only thing that I heard and a pair of doe eyes is the only thing I caught before the elevator's door closed. Some people went to me just to help me up and ask if I'm Ok to which I reply that I am.

I waited some time for the other elevator to come, and much to my luck it came not long after. Stepping into my office floor which is the top one, I went to my office and called my assistant to ask for some updates. I heard a knock on the door together with a "May I come in" and I just said yes.

"Goodmorning again sir, the meeting will start in ten minutes so you must head to the meeting room as I heard that some engineers and members of the board are already there."

"Ok, thank you Hope. Now let's go there" While going there I remembered the guy earlier, I had never seen him once so I ask my secretary "Hope, did one of the departments here hire some new employees without my information?" "What?, Of course not why did something happen? "Oh nothing, I just bumped into this guy earlier but I never saw him here once. And he seems to be in a hurry so I assumed that it must be his first day." "Is that so?, I'm going to ask someone about it later" I just nod to what he said and went inside the Meeting room.

I didn't bother looking around the room and just directly sat in the middle, because that's where my chair is located, after five minutes the meeting started with the agenda being presented and for the head engineer to speak. As I look up from the table to listen further to what the presenter is saying I catch a glimpse of the same doe eyes I saw earlier, I was shocked of course but decided to shrug it off and stay professional. Still, my mind is thinking of the possibilities of who he is and why is he exactly in this room. He bumped into me and said he was sorry, did he not know who I was? I was distracted by my own thoughts that I didn't realize that my secretary is calling me.

"Sir? Are you against anything related to the project?"

"Oh sorry, no. I'm not against anything, you may continue with the whole thing" I replied.

The presenter then introduced the same guy who I have wondered about, and I was more shocked and I'm sure it's not evident in my face because of what I heard next " May I present to you the head engineer of this new project. Engr. Jeon Jungkook welcome sir" Well now I know what's his name. I actually have no idea why I myself seem to be very interested in him when in fact I just saw him earlier. After he was introduced he started speaking in front.

"Good morning everyone I am Head Engr. Jeon Jungkook, I am in charge of this project, and I hope to work well with you all" As he was saying that he caught me staring right through him and I saw a glimpse of shock go to his face. Well now I guise he indeed doesn't know me, that's why he reacted the way he did earlier. After he introduced himself I stand up from my seat and said "Well hello Mr. Jeon nice to meet you, I'm Park Jimin CEO of the company. I think I already meet you earlier but you seem to be in a hurry" I stated while smirking a bit. I could see that he is quite nervous because of what I did and reluctantly replied "Yes nice to meet you, Mr. Park, my apologies again for what happened earlier, I was panicking already thinking that I might be late for my meeting." he said. I went up and whispered into his ear "Well I guess, we could see each other quite more often." After that, I smiled at everyone in the room and went back to my seat leaving a stunned man in front. Looking at me with a bit of amusement in his eye.
