In Seeking Silence

Between our hearts – I seek the silence

The silent air that lifts the room

With your complexion, detailing essence

of which paints the naked room

A paint; livid of wondrous colours

A constant renewal of the sight

Spurns emotion; the lively parlour

When the silence grips with might.

Between our minds – I seek the silence

A cluttered vision; now limpid and still

Releasing that vivacious resonance

In which reverberates the will

The search for Being, cloaked in touch

Wracking conscience refutes the Nothing

The thrownness of our Being; plush

Irking moments thrown at Nothing.

Between our forms – I seek the silence

Vividly careful in the means of care

With reddening cheeks of innocence

And bodies on porcelain; bare

Oppressed caress, freed of bondage

Fluctuating states of coalescing forms

A warm content in different appendage

With pinions of love embracing the forms.

At last, the silence lingers.

At last, the silence hangs.
