The next day, Castle library

'Need something, Owen?' Hetty asked when her husband came by to talk to her.

'I've heard some news. There was a sudden lightening storm last night, and a burst of lightening struck Duke Kilbride. He's dead.' Granger said.

Hetty looked surprised. 'Oh. How terrible.'

'Yeah. But when I looked at the body, I noticed there was a very small weather vane sticking out of his back pocket. (Sitting down). Almost as if someone stuck it in there in hopes of attracting the lightening. Would you know anything about that?'

'No. And what makes you think I would ever do something so rash?'

He wasn't buying her poker face. He was no stranger to her thirst for revenge, which was greater then her thirst for justice. In fact, she loved inflicting revenge on her enemies herself more then sending them to jail or sentencing them to death.

Enemy that tried to kidnap her? She locked him in a barrel and tossed him over the tallest waterfall. (and he witnessed it!)

Enemy who tried to poison her? Sent to jail and died of a mysterious kind of poison hours later. (Hetty didn't say if she was responsible, but he knew she had access to rare kinds of poisons, and she wasn't doing a good job of hiding her poker face when he asked.).

Enemy who did kidnap her and was taken down by her? Jailed and sentenced to die by hanging. But instead of being hung, he was tied to a stake, and it blew up. And when Granger confronted her about it, she said that 'hanging would've been too good for him.'

'I didn't sneak in a weather vane to try and get back at him for being an asshole, if that's what you're wondering.' Hetty said.

'You sure? Because killing someone for constantly berating you about how we were married would be very extreme, even for you.'

'I'm not lying here! Obviously, someone else did it!'

He was keeping an eye on her face, and she didn't look like she was lying.

If she didn't sneak in the weather vane, then who did? Who would be brazen enough to execute a crazy plan like that?

Deeks woke up suddenly, still a bit exhausted. And grateful to be alive.

Sam had kept him in interrogation most of the night, wanting to know every detail of his nd Kensi's secret relationship.

Deeks told him most of it, and made it clear that while he enjoyed being with Kensi, he wasn't trying to take her from her job of protecting the kingdom.

It had taken a while, but Sam seemed convinced. Then he let Deeks go.

Deeks was nervous about what Sam might do to Kensi, so he went to her barracks to see her, but Jack was there instead.

'Where's Kensi?' Deeks asked.

'She left today on a mission. She left a note for you though.' Jack replied, then he gave Deeks the note.

'Deeks. The reason Sam interrupted us last night is because he wanted to tell me that he was sending me on a important mission, which I am leaving on right now. I hope he understands why we're seeing each other. I'll try to write when I can. Take care. Kensi.'

After reading the note, Deeks wanted to know where she was being sent.

It had taken a day and a half, and getting a bit lost at some point, but Callen had finally reached the kingdom where Princess Anna lived.

'Nice place.' Callen thought as he made his way to the castle.

The castle itself was really something, colored almost completely in gold.

'I'm here to see Princess Anna.' Callen told the guard at the gate.

'She's not here, but her father is here if you want to see him.' The guard replied.

'That would be helpful. Please let me in.'

'I have to warn you though, he is a bit of a handful.'

'I've handled worse, trust me.'

The guard let him in.

'Even the hallways look like they're colored in gold! Either this guy has a thing for gold, or he doesn't have much of a color scheme.' Callen thought as he walked through the castle.

'Who's this person who wants to see my daughter?' A gruff voice bellowed.

Callen saw the chubby person who asked the question, and even he was wearing a yellow colored robe.

'Uh, me, sir. I'm Prince Callen. And I would like to see your daughter.' Callen said.

'And why should I let you see her? Where are you from anyways?' Arkady asked.

'Because she and I know each other from a ball my parents threw for me. I'm from the kingdom close by.'

'Oh right. I know who your parents. Delightful people. Though, your mother could stand to learn some manners. Called this wonderful castle 'tacky looking'. Like, how is this place tacky looking?!'

Callen smirked. 'Probably because this whole place is covered in fake gold paint? Ah, that is so like Mom!' He thought in amusement.

'What's so funny?' Arkady wasn't amused by Callen's goofy look.

'Sorry. Anyways, can I see your daughter?'

'Sure. She's out back in the yard. Also, if you do anything to make her unhappy, I will personally have you thrown out, and I will issue a complaint to your parents.'

'And I have no doubt that you would, old man.' Callen thought.
