Lake Leanne, that night
The stars and the moon were shining bright above. It was a beautiful starlit night.
'This is such a beautiful night. And this place is beautiful! I can see why your parents love this place so much.' Anna said.
'Yeah, it is. Anna, we have been going out for a while, and. I've never been this happy with anyone! You're fun, spunky, and you have an adorable laugh!' Callen replied.
Anna chuckled at his remark.
'What I'm trying to say is, (getting down on 1 knee), Anna, will you marry me?'
Silence.
'Yes! Yes I will!'
The wedding took place 3 weeks later. The press labeled it as the 'wedding of the year', Half of Trentford and the kingdom where Anna came from showed up.
It was a beautiful ceremony. Granger even started to cry at 1 point, and then Hetty lightly slapped him on the arm and sternly whispered 'Keep it together!'
At the reception
'They really do make a perfect couple.' Deeks said, seeing how happy Callen and Anna were.
'Yeah. Say, it's been a while since we last talked.' Kensi remarked.
'Yeah. I've been thinking about our last conversation for a while. And I feel pretty bad about it.'
'I do too. Think we could try again at some point?'
Holding her hand. 'I'd like that.' Deeks replied.
Then at 1 point, chaos erupted when Hetty was supposidly pushed into the pool by Arkady, and Granger tackled him him into the pool yelling 'Don't mess with my wife like that!'. Everything fell apart after that.
In the carriage on the way to the ferry
'I, am so sorry about my parents!' Callen said, while trying to keep a straight face.
'And I'm sorry about my father!' Anna replied, snickering.
'From what I could tell, he bumped into her and that's how she fell in, but she clearly didn't see it that way, and my dad is very protective when it comes to my mom, so. That's that.'
'That's all right.'
Then they kissed, eager to start their new life together.
Endnote: While writing the prequel, I came up with the name for the kingdom this story takes place in, which is Trentford.
