Dino Jurassic squad: Redemption (discontinued)

Training simulation part 1

Ben and Brooklynn stepped into Stacker Pentecost's office after being called down there by the marshal. "You wanted to see us marshal?" Ben asked as he stood still in his green dive suit.

"Yes I did." Stacker said looking over his shoulder at the two.

Stacker's office had two pools of shallow water on either side of a walkway and a door on the left that led to his sleeping quarters. The whole room was made out of a marble like rock. 

"Ms. Brooklynn Glantin here despite almost accidentally causing you to look the battle against Bloodseather I feel could have great potential if she were to become a pilot." Stacker said and Brooklynn's eyes lit up in joy.

"Let me guess, you want me to put her in the simulation?" Ben asked and Brooklynn looked at him confused.

"What simulation?" Brooklynn asked.

"The training simulation, for Jaeger suit pilots." Stacker answered. An hour later Ben and Brooklynn entered a room and Brooklynn was placed inside of a Jaeger suit armour.

"This is the simulation hall, this is were cadets such as yourself get to train against hybrids." Tendo Choi said over the comm system.

"And no these simulations aren't real, they only feel real." Tendo added as the Jaeger suit powered up.

It looked exactly like Gipsy danger but with a dark green colour scheme and a yellow visor. "This one is easy, just don't let it flank you." Tendo said as room became a simulation of a city and drift core activated, but that's when a hybrid with a lean build leapt at Brooklynn and she reacted by punching it hard in the bottom jaw.

The hybrid in design had a face similar to an axolotl but with Velociraptor like teeth and had a long spine running from it's neck to the end of it's tail and a lean build. It leapt at her again and clamped it's jaws down on the training Jaeger suit's arm and Brooklynn grunted in pain.

The training Jaeger suit then punched the hybrid repeatedly and did a backflip to dodge it's tail. "She's agile." Tendo said glancing over to Stacker who nodded silently while Ben just watched on.

Brooklynn meanwhile kicked the hybrid twice and then activated the training Jaeger suit's plasma caster like weapon and fired it at the hybrid's face.

Killing it instantly. The simulation ended and both the hybrid and the city disappeared. "Well done." Tendo said as Brooklynn looked at the place the hybrid bit the training Jaeger suit's arm and noticed there was no damage on it at all.

"She'd be a great replacement for Kaori Jessop." Tendo said to Stacker referencing the deceased pilot of Tacit ronin.

"No, the mark I is already getting a new pilot." Stacker said in response.

"What about Tiger rush?" Tendo asked. Tiger rush was a mark V Philippines jaeger suit that had still yet to have a pilot assigned to it.

"Tiger isn't built for speed, plus I don't think she'd know how to use it." Stacker said.

"Well the last one I can think of is Sierra vigilant." Tendo said.

"Yeah I don't think she can do any fancy moves with that arm mounted rail gun mounted on it's right arm." Ben said.

"I believe there is still a mark V that could be of service after she finishes training." Stacker said.

"Which one would that be?" Ben asked.

"Nova superstar." Stacker answered. He then pulled up an image of a Jaeger suit that looked similar to Gipsy danger.

"Hey I want to have another go!" Brooklynn called out at the group of three.

"Wow she really does, doesn't she?" Ben asked. "Well let the girl do it again." The simulation was then activated again and Brooklynn charged towards the same hybrid again and it roared in response.

It then charged towards her as well while Stacker and Ben left the room.
