The Party

I was waiting in the car for Mark to tell the dog sitter what to do. I was getting some paper work done while waiting. When we got onto the interstate it was an 4 hour and 15 minute drive. "Perfect time to sleep" 'after what happened last night I needed to catch up on sleep.' An hour and 15 minutes went by and I was car sick. Great just great. We had to make a few stops so I can throw up but Mark got us there on time surprisingly. We got our hotel and it was a suite. It was big and we were staying here for the next 4 days wow. I wanted to go have a look around town so I took the keys and Mark wanted to stay so I got him coffee and me tea. I got back to the room and saw a box on the bed with a note next to it. It had my name with a rose. I opened the letter and it read

I started to tear up when he walked in the door. "I see you got my letter?" I nodded and hugged him I love you too mark so much. He embraced me and kissed my head. "I haven't opened the other box" "open it silly" I grabbed the box and opened it. It was a ring, just like the one at the jewelry store, but thats an engagement ring? Wait was he proposing to me? I turned to him "this is an engagement ring?" "I know." he put the ring on my finger "Haven will you marry me?" I looked at him and the ring. "Wha huh!" I was confused. I looked up to him and to the ring again. "Of course I will marry you" I hugged him tight. The sunset was a beautiful orange with a big of gold light. So romantic. I told my friend Cali and she was excited for me. She knew Mark personally and help with this. I was happy and knowing I was engaged was even more than life. "When the man behind the counter said the ring was 50% off the rest of the week I had to get it so I could propose to you. Thats why when I said I was going to my buddies house to get something I was actually buying the ring, I had got those guns for a surprise but I knew you would be questioning me for what I got. So basically I used the guns as a cover up to get the ring for you." This was all breathtaking and so sudden. I fell asleep knowing he loved me so much.
The next morning was the day of the party. Mark had bought me some tea and laid with me with his coffee. I'm not much of a coffee drinker so I get tea all the time. I had butterflies in my stomach when and held my hand I don't know why. It was 12:30 and I was getting hungry. Lets go get some food. I threw on a shirt with some white shorts and sandals. Down the road was a good restaurant called McAlister's Deli. It was a good place and I was happy. I took a long nap. The party wasn't until 6:45. By the time I woke up it was 3:45 and I wanted tea so I went to the lobby to get some. While I was down there I saw some of the men that are going with us to the party. "Hi Haven" one of them said. "Come sit with us" "I will after I get my tea" after I added the packet in I sat next to a guy with red hair. "So are you exited for tonight?" Jack said "yeah I am" they nodded and they continued to talk about girls. Mark came down to the lobby and saw me "I see your making friends Haven!" I looked up to him and nodded. "You simp" Percy said "Mark rolled his eyes and defend himself. "Yeah well I have a girl and you don't And I'm engaged." They all started laughing but Mark didn't mind it. Some of them had girlfriends and some didn't. I was engaged so I didn't have a boyfriend I had a fiancé. Fancy word. Mark pulled a chair beside me and had his hand on my thigh. They all talked for a good hour until I decided to go back to the room. I had to get ready because you can't rush this. I sat in the mirror for a while making sure my eyeliner was right and I didn't miss any spots. I finished my eyes and Mark walked in to get ready. "Hey love you look beautiful!" He watched me do my mascara. You need to get dressed I said "ok ok but I need help with my tie." I nodded. After I was done with my makeup I put my jewelry on and got my dress put of the bag. Wow this is a pretty dress. I was putting it one when a knock came to the door. Mark got it because I was trying to zip up my dress. "Markkkkkk, I need hellpppppp." He rushed and zipped my dress up and stared at me. "Wow I have the most perfect girl in the world." I grabbed my heels that I had got. The dress looked like this
