Chapter 28// Blue

"Absolutely not." I shake my head in disbelief. "I get it. She's your sister. You haven't seen her in a long time, but she's under my care and I say what goes. You can't demand to see her tomorrow. It's not happening." I protest against Apollo's words and his eyes widen.

"I know. It was stupid of me to even mention it. I've just missed so much of her life." Apollo whispers with a sorrowful look etched onto his beautiful features. There's a small pout on his lips as he plays with a loose thread on his bedding.

"I need to tell her. You can't just show up, it will scare the shit out of her, and then she'll beat you up. Trust me." We both laugh lightly.

"Okay. When do you plan on telling her?" Apollo questions with hope swirling in his honey brown eyes. "Soon, baby?" He grabs a hold of my hand and squeezes it gently.

"Fine. I'll tell her tomorrow." Swallowing hard, a bunch of nerves settle deep in my stomach at the thought of breaking the little girl's heart. I don't know how she's going to take this.

"Then I can see her?" I nod my head and gasp when he throws his arms tight around me, both of us dropping back down into the soft mattress. "Thank you so much, Blue. You don't understand how much this means to me!"

"Don't thank me yet, babe." I huff, curling my arms around him. "I love you," I whisper so gently, feeling a slight shiver run down his body, and goosebumps rise on his skin.

"Tell me again." He rasps.

"I. Love. You." I say with every kiss I plant on his soft skin. "So much. I want to spend the rest of my life with you." I whisper.

Apollo raises his upper body slightly so he can look down at me. His face is soft and there's a small sparkle in his eyes that never used to be there when he was younger due to all the stress he had thrown at him.

"I want us to have a huge family." He blurts out, his face going a light shade of red. I giggle as he buries his face into the crook of my neck to hide. "Why are you laughing?!"

"I'm sorry," I simmer down from my laughter and then continue. "You're just really adorable." His arms tighten and he tries to bury his face further into my neck.

"Shut up. No, I'm not." He mumbles in displeasure, which only makes me laugh harder. After a couple of minutes, he speaks up again. "Do you want to have a family? With me?"

"Well, I was thinking of having children with the man who lives across from me. He is a sight—" Of course, Apollo doesn't let me finish my sentence before he's thrusting into me with a low moan.

"Always such a fucking tease." I grin at his words.

"You're very happy." Arabella observes me as I move around our home.

"Is that a bad thing?" I look over my shoulder at my girl and she shakes her head but has a curious look on her face, so similar to her big brother. What she doesn't know is that I'm freaking out on the inside, trying to figure out how I tell her that Apollo is alive.

"Bluey, you look suspicious. Do you need to tell me something?" I turn on a sigh and nibble on my bottom lip. "Have you met someone? It's okay if you have."

"Let's sit down, baby." I tilt my head toward the kitchen and watch her jump onto the stool as I take a seat on the one next to her. "I need to tell you something, Arabella, and I won't lie, it's going to be difficult for you to hear. You might even hate us for it, and I understand why you might." I take a deep breath as she looks up at me with her deep brown eyes.
