Chapter 1

~Time skip~
.Y/n pov.

...It's been a few weeks since school has started back up, everything seems to have settled down and kinda starting to feel normal again...

"Y/n if you don't get your ass out of the clouds we are gonna be late for first period again!" Emma pulls me out of my thoughts and drags me to class
"Look who decided to join us...ms y/l/n , ms chamberlain your late...again" mr.Chan sighs
"So sorry mr Chan it won't happen again" Emma said with pleading eyes
"I'll let it slide but you better not let it happen again,go ahead and have a seat" he turned back around to the whiteboard writing the lesson
"It works every time" Emma smirks as we sit next to each other

"Ok class today we will be starting a new project...and no you can't pick your own partners" as soon as he said that the class was filled with loud grunts
"Quiet down" he hushes everyone
"Starting off with hmmmmm Jessica and jack" and he proceeded to go down the list of names
"Emma and...Jamie" he says making Emma give me sad eyes but I could tell she was still happy underneath
"And finally y/n and Braxton" suddenly her sad eyes turned into happy ones

"Hey at least you got a hot one" I smile lightly at her "hey I'm got too" Jamie pulls up a chair to our table "sure hun sure" she gave him a sarcastic smile

"Alright I guess I'll leave y'all to it" I dramatically walked away.
I pull up a chair to Braxtons desk and wait for him to day something, I had talked to Braxton before but never long enough to really get to know him well but he's nice from what I heard
"Hey y/n" he gave a small smile and I gave one back

—end of class—

"Ok so next session we will meet at my house" he said handing my phone back to me after putting his number in it "ok sounds good to me see you later" I walked away catching up to Emma

" so how was your partner" Emma asked excitedly "he was nice he invited me to his house to work on the project" "ouu la la when?" She joked "I'm not sure I guess he will text me whenever" I shrugged "WAIT...your telling me he's nice, he invited you to HIS house ,AND gave you his number!? Look at you" she smacked my shoulder

"Emma I think it's because..oh I don't know maybe because we are partners on the project!" I roll my eyes and laugh at her weirdness "mhm sureeee" we walk to our next classes which we sadly don't have together "alright I'll see you at lunch ok" she said parting ways "ok see ya" I waved

I walk in to the class and see an empty seat in the back so I take it I get settled and wait for the lesson to start
As I minding my own business someone comes and sits next to me...it's Mindy the most annoying girl anyone can come across "hey you" she says in her annoying forced high pitch voice "what do you want?" I sigh and look at her "oh nothing I'm just gonna show you what your missing out on" she gets up as I have a confused face until she walks over to...Luis
