Chapter 12

Y/n pov

Struggling my way on to the roof I finally make it feeling the cool breeze hit my arms immediately
The house is 2 stories tall so there is still one more to climb if I wanted to

I take out the freshly rolled blunt and start to flick the lighter
A green flame lights up making me gasp
"Wow" I say to myself even though I'm alone
I bring the green flame to the tip and it's soon lit

Taking a bigger puff then I should've I inhale then quickly exhale coughing up a storm
"Holy *cough* shiiiiit" I let out

I take one more small puff this time and lay down on my back looking up at the stars then let out the smoke
I start feeling the effects right away feeling my eyes get dry and my mouth starts to crave any sort of liquid it can get ahold of

I hear some sort of rumbling coming from the window I had just climbed through
Hoping it was just some people hooking up I still slowly put out the blunt and scoot away
Then I see a hand reaching out then another

Someone is coming out here too!!!.....

-Luis pov-
(Skipping back a little)

I see Braxton making his way over to y/n..he has some nerve
Her smile instantly drops when she sees him which makes me feel some sort of way so I start to walk closer

"Let me go" I can just barely hear her voice say sternly
I walk faster

They are now in my view and he has his hand on her arm. My blood starts to boil
He says a few more words to her but I block them out because all I could focus on was his hand on her still

He suddenly goes to grab her with his other hand spilling his drink on her perfectly fitted white dress
Big.mistake.

I grab ahold of the back of his shirt and yank him away from her
"I think you've done enough" I clench my jaw and make my hand into a fist ready to shut him up
But my eyes find their way back to her
She doesn't take another second and rushes off back into the crowd and I loose sight of her

I'm mad. So mad that I pull Braxton back to his feel, I start to straighten out his shirt for him and then I swing my hardest punch directly at his face catching him off guard

I knelt down to his now groaning limp body
"If you know what's best for you, you'll stay away" I get back up and see some are still staring
But I walk away trying to search for her
-
I spot her again
She's grabbing a drink which is really her 5th and someone should stop her....but I still watch over and wait for her next move

She's talking to some girl and I can't quite make out what they are saying but I see the girl hand her a lighter
Weird..

She starts to walk away again and heads to a room
I want to let her go but I need to make sure she's ok first

The door is cracked open and I can see her stumble to the window..she better not be..and she is! God damn it y/n why do you do these things to yourself ?

She barely makes it out the window but she surprisingly does it
I stand there contemplating if I should follow but my thoughts get the best of me and I open the door and head to the wide open window

I squeeze through barely fitting and I make it to my feet dusting off my pants
"Luis?"

-y/n pov-

"Luis?" I say the name barely making it out of my mouth
"Yep it's me alright" he looks around then back at me..sort of observing me in a way
He then looks me up and down spotting the lighter and blunt still in my hands

"What do you think your doing?!" He rushes over to me taking them out of my hands
"Have you even done this before?!" He loos at me concerned

"Yes! Ok no" I laugh and I continue to laugh not being able to stop
"Y/n you can just do this kind of shit by yourself. Matter of fact where did you even get this?" He continued

"Ok dad. Whatever dad." I laugh even harder
"Y/n I'm serious. You've been drinking too"
"What everrrrrr im fine byeeee" I try to shoo him away
" you think im gonna leave you alone in the state your in right now? Your funny" he takes a step closer

"Nooo you can't be here leave" I try to shove him
But instead of moving he grabs my arms and we just stand there looking into each other's eyes

I pull my arms from his hands and turn to face the other way
"I'm serious Luis you should leave" his presence is really starting to ruin my buzz

A few seconds later I don't hear anything from him so I turn back around
I still find him there but he's sitting and still staring at me
"How did you even know I was up here?" I begin
"Wait where you following me?" I don't give him any time to respond
"I-" he try's but nothing else comes out

"Well..where you" I take a step closer to him this time
