-Y/n pov-

"Emma stop looking at your damn phone and help me pick out an outfit for this date!" I scream at Emma from the bathroom "ok, ok dangggg" she drags herself up from my bed and walks to my closet to find a cute fit for me(photo at the top)
"Now this should give just enough, you'll be comfortable and cute!" Emma pulls out some baggie paints and a zip up hoodie

Soon enough Braxton is on his way to pick me up for our 'date'
Braxton isn't a bad guy..but why would Luis say he is? I don't think I've ever seen them talk like eve...maybe I'll ask Braxton on the car ride

"Y/n! Braxton is here" Jamie yells from the front door
I grab my wallet and phone then head down stairs "text or call if anything happens!" Emma yells as I'm walking out and i send her a thumbs up

"So..Braxton I have a question" I say looking away from the window now facing him
"Ok proceed."
"Luis said something to me that kinda made me think....now I don't want you to feel weird or anything I was just wondering.." I look anywhere but his eyes
"Mhmmm" Braxton clenched the steering wheel then relaxed
"He told me that you..use girls and then leave them and never speak to them again. Is that true?" As soon as the words left my mouth I felt a little bit guilty but I don't mean any harm I just need to know.

"Well...it has some truth to it" he responded and my heart ached "but not in the way you think" he adjusts his hands again clenching then relaxes them. "I used to go out with Mindy...and I know it's awful I know but it was a long time ago and I never 'used her' or ghost her I simply told her I didn't like her..." he explained making me feel a little uneasy knowing it was Mindy
"And I never did anything with her..if you where wondering" I had to look away and think for a moment
"Why didn't you say anything" I say still facing the window"

"Because nothing ever happened between me and her and nothing ever will..she's very controlling and I'm not Interested in her." That made me feel a little better about the situation
"Promise" I stuck my pinky out
"I promise" he linked his with mine and then connected our hands together and gave it a small squeeze

"2 tickets to the scream movie please" Braxton tells the cashier and i go to grab my wallet
"I got it don't worry"
" you know you don't have to pay for me" I roll my eyes "yeah but I know better and a lady should never pay, duh I'm not completely stupid" I smile and shake my head
"Do you want any snacks" "heck yeah I do!"
I end up getting a blue raspberry slushy and some popcorn to share and Braxton some candy
"Now don't be scared in here cause remember you picked this movie" he nudged my shoulder laughing a little
"Fine then same goes for you" I smile "matter fact let's make a bet if you get scared then I get to pick what we do in our next 'date'.." I look up at him "deal and if you get scared then I get to pick the what we do on our next date" I put my hand out for him to shake it and he does the same but he spits on his hand "ewww your so nasty" I pull my hand away as he laughs

"I'm just messing" he puts out his other hand and we shake on it.....
