Chapter 10

-Y/n pov-

As soon as Jamie walks out of the lunch room me and Emma grab one of his arms and drag him down the hallway before Braxton could see.

"Woah woah slow down" Jamie finally catches his balance again
"What's going on? And what took you guys so long? Y/n where you crying?" He spits out question after question

"It doesn't matter. Braxton isn't a good guy and we can't trust him anymore so no more talking to him got it" Emma speaks for me

"Ok...are you going to tell me what happened?" He looked directly at me
"Well uh..I found out that he was...he was going to use me" I take a deep breath in remembering the exact words he said

"Oh my gosh y/n are you ok" he puts his hand on my shoulder looking at me with sad eyes
"I'm ok, im just glad I found out his true intentions" I pull him into a hug and he does the same

"The last thing you need is another Luis" he rubs my back
Emma clears her throat which Im guessing is a signal for me to tell Jamie about Luis texting me again

"And one more thing..." I pull away form the hug "Luis is the one who informed me" it takes a second for Jamie to comprehend what I had just told him

"Well, I wasn't expecting that" he pressed his lips together into a thin line
"He's kinda been messaging me for a few days now...I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys" I say with a guilty look

"At least we know now" Emma smiled
"Honestly do you guys just want to skip the rest of the day, I don't even feel like staying here anymore" Jamie says lighting the mood

"Yes!" Me and Emma say in sync

-Luis pov-

Fucking bastard
He thinks he can just use her like a piece of meat and toss her away

We made it back home without getting caught by any teacher roaming the halls looking for students skipping or trying or leave..Like us

We walk inside thinking we where in the clear until
"Now what in the world are you all doing here" Murray comes out of the kitchen with his reading glasses on and the daily news paper in his hand
"Uhhhh school let us out early today heh heh" Jamie spoke quickly

"That's funny because I never got a call from the school" Murray threw back even faster

"Ok you caught us, we are skipping we're sorry" Emma looks at him with pleading eyes

"This will never happen again do you three understand" he pushes his reading glasses up and walks back to the kitchen

"Now like I said, works every time" Jaime high fives her but I roll my eyes and all three of us walk into my room

"So are we still going to go to this party tonight?" I look at the two of them breaking the silence

"I was kinda waiting to hear what you thought about going or not" Jaime speaks up
"Well I feel like it would make me feel better but if you guys don't want to-"

"Oh we want to!" Emma cuts me off
"She means we are down if your down" Jaime sends her a small glance
"Yeah..what he said" she slightly laughed making me smile

"It starts soon so let's get ready" I get up and start to look for my outfit
"Y/nnnn can I barrow something again" Emma gave me pleading eyes
"Fineeee" I roll my eyes and smile

"Hehehe" Emma evilly laughs

"I'm all ready to go" me and Emma walk into Jamie's room
"Me too, let's be extra quiet and try not to make Murray suspect anything

Me and Emma nod walking slowly down the steps behind Jaime
"I'll distract him you guys try to sneak out the front" he hand us his keys and we head off
"Murray I think I'm gonna go hang with some of my friends I'll be back later" I hear Jamie say as we are already closing the door behind us

"We made it eeeee" I give Emma a high five
We both hop in the back and soon Jamie joins and starts his car

"Ok and we are off" he puts the car in reverse and we are on our way
